“Serene and private with an amazing view. Highly recommend!”

“We spent three nights at Pauls Cottage. As a local host for vacation homes on Cape Cod. I pay attention to the details.The home had a three night minimum.The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. Check in for the cottage was 4:00. We had a 4 1/2 hour drive and knew we would be coming in late. However, we did not hear from our host on how to enter the cottage. It wasn't until I made a few attempts to reach her and after 6:00 that we……

“Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. Free access to kayaks was another nice amenity -- lots of coast to explore. The house is a little quirky (uneven floors and bathroom door is really a curtain),……

“A terrific cozy cabin for a getaway with our dogs. The property was in a good location, close to town, with ample yard to explore wiwith the pups. The cabin was cozy and comfortable.”

“Map quest and google take you on unnecessary routes into the cabin. We got there in the dark and after being instructed to drive into the woods on dirt road we came into someones back yard. Noticed one small sign nailed to post pointing in "assumed" direction to go. No lights, very dark and even when we found the house no lights were left on or hey how about a solar night light over the door?. Need a welcome book too listing what's what and where inside items are located”

“Beautiful home that is a great proximity to Boothbay Harbor downtown. The pond is very nice but the water level was very low during our stay in March and there were no boats available as described in the listing. It is unclear whether this is something to note for all offseason travelers”

“This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!”

“This was a beautiful place to stay and had more parking than we expected. The only hiccups we had was that the check in code we were given was one digit off from what it actually was so we had a little trouble getting into the house. Also there is an outlet that was uncovered in the bedroom and we had a child touch it. Luckily the child wasn’t harmed but this should definitely be addressed if there’s any little ones staying on the property. The houses were very clean and the only reason I gave……

“We 3 adults enjoyed the quiet setting, the eagles in the trees above us (whoa!), the layout of the place, and more. Unfortunately, three areas are ready for updates: the only bathroom, the windows (which simply need a good cleaning, inside and out), and a few trees (because selective pruning, especially of deadwood, would make water views real). Otherwise, thumbs up--and thank you.”

“Cozy, roomy "home away from home!" Nice 3 rooms, able to sleep 6 comfortablely... 2 bathrooms were so welcome for us ladies. Sitting on the porch watching the sun go down on the water was so beautiful & peaceful. Full kitchen eneabled us to fix our own meals in a snap. Loved our stay!”

“Fabulous! Beautiful home, lots to do, great beach combing within walking distance, gorgeous sandy beach less than 5 minutes away. Clean and cozy, very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen.”

“Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Of all the places I have rented, this house was perfectly stocked with everything our group could want. The attention to detail to the kids toys and games was amazing. My nephew had a blast. The house was clean and welcoming. The washer and dryer were so nice to have. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved the porch and the fire table. The location is perfect for us, close to town but still tucked away and relaxing. We will definitely be back.”

“I traveled solo and it was the perfect respite. Check in is simple, Pilot welcomes you with a wagging tail and gives the grand tour. Having left my own furry friend at home, I was happy for his company. Furnishings are more updated than the photos show. I can't imagine anyone needing anything more than what this cottage provides. Mind your head when you climb the spiral staircase. I was grateful for the bluetooth speaker in the living room. This was a perfect solo stay, I'd recommend for couples……

“My family and I loved this place so much that we definitely want to come back and stay again. Beach combing was fun looking for interesting rocks and seaglass. It was also nice sitting out the huge rocks and admiring the water. Driving around the town of Boothbay was amazing. The people were so friendly and the town has alot of charm. The house was another part of the trip that made it memorable. It had plenty of windows to be able to get a view of the water. The house was well equipped and the……
