「The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor」

「Southside Harbour Vacations Apartment was a lovely little gem along the Antigonish Harbour. We loved the apartment! It’s a spacious layout with beautiful decor. It was meticulously clean. John and Kathryn were very friendly hosts, they shared lots of information about the area’s highlights and accommodated us with kayaks and a lobster steamer. The host was available for any questions - thank you so much John and Kathryn -PS-it was a pleasure to meet your children- 」

We travelled with young kids - the rock beach was perfect for exploring - the kids loved finding treasures of oyster shells and crab claws. 「Spent 4 days. Beautiful location on a beach, very quiet, kayaking every day. Nesting eagles a ross the way. Host were exceptionally hospitable- went with us fown the street to get fresh lobsters off the boat」

「The house was amazing! Very modern and state of the art but extremely comfortable. Immaculately clean. The water views and sunsets were incredible. Hosts were very attentive to questions. The only downside, there were six adults and the hot water didn’t last beyond two showers.」
