「The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.」

「Our stay here was beyond our expectations. Entering the bar to book in the staff were extremely welcoming. Our room was exquisite, bed extremely comfortable the shower was fantastic. Room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent we chose a different breakfast every day. We had our evening meals also food was delicious. Our dog loved the walks . Shopping in Bath we used the park and ride just up the road. This was free as we had bus passes. We will probably return for the Xmas markets. Will...

「Room was lovely and way bigger than expected. Staff were fantastic and the pub is beautiful with stone floors and wooden beams. Big beer garden with children's play area, although it rained overnight so we couldn't go out and enjoy it but looked fab」

「Had an excellent stay at the Pontcanna Inn! I had a last-minute trip to Cardiff come up and was very happy to find such a lovely place on short notice. The room was, clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Despite being above a pub and close to the street, the room was very quiet. I could hardly hear any noise from the pub or the street during my time there. Would definitely recommend the Pontcanna Inn for anyone looking for a stay in Cardiff.」

「Really enjoyed my stay here, staff in the pub downstairs are lovely, and it was a great and lively place for us to have a drink in late on. It’s probably worth mentioning that there is no parking onsite and you have to find a spot on the residential streets nearby, it wasn’t a problem for us but may be for others, especially if you have a a few bags to carry. The rooms are upstairs and you have to climb up some wooden outdoor stairs and cross a courtyard to get there which might also present...
