「Lovely old hotel in a beautiful town. Our room was a good size - very clean. Breakfast was oustanding. On our last night there was a "false" fire alarm (better than a real fire). Next morning there was no hot water. Manager said it would be hot in 20 minutes. An hour later still no hot water and no apology. Disappointing way to end our stay 」

「Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing...

「The hotel and the grounds were full of character. The bathroom was incredible. However, the issue was the noise. Needs some serious sound proofing. The room was above reception and was incredibly noisy. Also, the room lacked services considering the price per night. Limited drinks available, and had to ask for bathrobes. 」

「Great hotel for a bade to easily get into Cardiff City. On street parking was free and right outside the hotel which swung it for us! Bar downstairs was OK. The pool table was for over 16s which would have been good to know before booking. Lovely hosts and clean, comfortable accommodation. 」

「Very nice with warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were absolutely brilliant. Food was excellent. Room was comfy and warm. Bed was lovely, didn't want to get up lol. 「The overall impression is really good, the room is very big and there are kettle for boiling water and the shower is really good too. But the early morning when we tried to check out, there was not a single person on the reception and no one answer phone call on the emergency tel no., at last we just leave our room key on the table.」

「A wonderful pub and restaurant, with very convenient accommodation attached. The staff looked after us well. There was a good selection of food for dinner, and the breakfast was outstanding. There was some noise from passing traffic, but this was not overly distracting. Would definitely stay here again.」

「lovely stay in a self catering apartment, well equipped with every thing you require. A well stocked shop 2 doors away. room was very quiet even though it was above the pub. i would stay here again. host were very polite and got us checked in quickly. 」
