“The best place to say in Newton. Comfortable and roomy apartment, easy parking, and walking access to downtown. The bed is comfortable and it has a decent shower.”

“Everything was great. Very clean room and everything you need on the same stretch of road.”

“Best place in town! Will definitely book here again.”

“Clean and elegant furnishings. Great local pub next door.”

“Hard to find lockboxes but otherwise great”

“Cool spot”

“Lovely, comfortable, and comfy spot. The kitchen is well stocked to make a dinner and some nice restaurants not far if not. Very mindful host- welcoming note, mints on pillows, and even cleaned snow off of our car in the morning. Enjoyed the space and Pella- thank you!”

“I was offered a different place on the day of my check-in. The unit I booked was on the 2nd floor, but the unit I received was on the fourth floor. The issues: This is next to a Railroad track and the trains during the night blow their whistles. At least 4 times after 10 pm and during the night. The AC system is not working, there is an AC unit full of dust by the window and a floor fan, which I ended up using. There's a lot of dust and dirt by the floors near the windows. Toilet bowl was……

“I wasn't all that impressed with the cleanliness of the room when I arrived but our host was gracious and eager to make things right away. Best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Will come back!”

“Long story short, don't waste your money. The unit smelled of smoke and was dirty when I arrived. I looked closer and noticed the place wasn't even clean one bit. The bathrooms were dirty and gross; I could tell it hadn't been touched because the sinks had hair and grime in them, as did the showers. There were only 2 body towels per room when I signed up for 6 guests. No clean dishes; the hand soap was watered down and damn near out of soap in each bathroom and the kitchen! The host did……

“The pros were that the property and building were quiet, check in and out was easy, and everything worked (TV, fridge, etc). However the unit itself felt somewhat dingy/dirty, particularly the floors. The washing machine had a musty/mildew smell but luckily we were not trying to wash anything as we were only spending one night. The most egregious offenses in my opinion were: 1. We were only given 1 washcloth and 2 bath towels. Again luckily we were only there one night, but this would have……

“First we had a hard time checking in. It’s unclear which of the 3 buildings to enter and our security code didn’t work. While we did get a customer service agent on the phone quickly, it was difficult to understand them. It took several tries to get a working code. And then the apartment. Yuck. The carpet had stains or burns or something - very dirty. When we sat on the couch and it was dirty. There were barely enough towels for the 3 of us - it was dirty and gross. They agreed on the phone to……

“Quiet, easily accessible first floor unit, low key and gracious hosts, everything I needed was there. They expected very little of me, communicated quickly, and even checked in a few times during my long term stay just to make sure I was doing okay.”
