「It seems to be a new hotel. The elevator wasn't working so we used the stairs which seemed to be an incomplete afterthought. Other than the stair situation it was a nice place」

「I give this property 4 stars because if you are looking at hotels in this price range, you will already know you aren't expecting the luxury that twice the price will get you. It's clean, comfortable bed and pillows, and the TV has plenty of good channels. No complaints. For the price, I will be staying here again.」

「It’s a low budget motel charging like they’re the Hilton. No amenities at all. It just feels like a clean dump. The covers have that used smell. The Interstate (I-20) is next to it and you can hear all the traffic 24/7. 」

「Rentavations Are Going On. The Rooms Are Old. They Did Not Clean the Room. The Towel and Wash Clothes Were Dingy. You have to Purchase Your Own Bath Room Tissue and Soaps. I purchased Towels to Use Also. One Staff Member Was Nasty-Nasty Attitude towards Me. They Don’t Explain Anything To You. Do Not Put A Card on File.」

「I booked this place in JANUARY, I get to the hotel Friday and they can’t find me in their system, tell me they don’t use hotels.com. Haven’t used hotels.com for a while. Their boss said sorry we don’t have anything for you. Luckily it was a pay at the property deal and they didn’t get any money from us. Luckily we went down the street and found a room, attendant told us to be glad we didn’t stay there cause the place is bad news…….. 」

「Stayed overnight on way North, was pet friendly, and easy to find at end of long drive.Plenty of room and reasonable price. Floor could have been cleaned better. Being pet friendly , I can see some of the odor but carpet significantly stained.」

「I was recommended this location after a family member stayed here and had a decent experience, but it was a huge mistake to take their advice. The reviews for this place were decent when I was booking as well and I feel extremely misled. We asked for non-smoking but the room had obviously been smoked in and then sprayed over, so either they didn't clean up well enough or it wasn't non-smoking. My husband had a severe allergy attack while staying here. We didn't ask for a new room because we had...

「We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at The Cottage in Monroe. The beautiful historic home is clean and spacious with restored hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout. The wide front porch and well-equipped pool and patio area were especially relaxing. The beds were extremely comfortable, and our hosts supplied everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The downtown Monroe area is walkable with fabulous restaurants and cute shops. I highly recommend Jordan and Patrick as your hosts!」

「Excellent location, spotless as usual and loads of towels. Five of us stayed for UGA graduation and could walk to the stadium etc. Owner was very responsive to enquiries and helpful. Great stay again (it's our third time booking this property)」
