Chalets in Mont des Avaloirs

"Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything about this rural quaint chalet is well thought about. From the beautiful french linen to very tasteful rustic decor. Secure location with gated drive. There was a wood burn hot tub which we didn't use, due to our schedule. Incredibly clean, well appointed and comfortable. Peaceful. The local village is only a 5 mins walk down the hill. "Owners were charming and friendly however the accommodation was quite the worst we have ever seen. Most of the work seemed to have been done as DIY but to appallingly low standards. Whilst efforts had been made to decorate no cleaning seemed to have been carried out. The cooker hob was still soiled from previous use and all light switches were unclean. Interior of drawers in kitchen were soiled and in our opinion thus unfit for use. Whilst the shower was effective, because of poor finishing it...

"A really lovely cabin, calm and peaceful. Owners were lovely and extremely helpful. But sadly no internet connection, which is why we had to leave early."
