“Manga Soa is as close to paradise on Earth as you will find! It is a friendly, French-managed small lodge set in the most exhuberant tropical gardens imaginable! Every tropical flower & plant are found here. The managers, Roman & Ocean, are a competent, friendly can-do couple who can handle any request. “I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great……

“Nice and quiet location”

“The room was clean. The room was spacious. Ther was a swimming pool right outside the room. The location was amazing and the hotel had a magnificent sun bathing deck right on the water line with a fantastic view ang great sunset. No other hotel in the bay had this. The food was somwhat mediocre .”

“This year was our second week at the resort. It truly is one of the most laid-back and peaceful places that I have ever stayed. The sea is lovely and calm and the pool spotlessly clean. The menu and bar are comprehensive and the service is pretty good. The bungalows are lovely and have decent air-conditioning which is great. “Staff were super friendly and gave us welcome drinks when we arrived. Food was really nice and they had a large selection of cocktails and mocktails. Only issue was sometimes they would make the cocktails ridiculously strong and the pillows were too hard/large for my liking”

“Breakfast is continental with various additions. It does the job of getting the day started. The staff are attentive and will get you anything you want. The rooms are simple but clean but they do not have any air conditioning just some fans . The rooms can get very hot and it can be difficult to sleep. There is no fridge or coffee making facilities. Bring your own shower gel and soap as the hotel only provides a non scented soap stick for cleaning yourself. There is TV in the room but ours only……

“From the moment I arrived (3 members of staff met my boat on the beach) until the moment I departed I was met with excellent service. I stayed two nights at Sakatia Passions for an unforgettable experience. Marianna in guest services is an absolute treasure. She is one of the most kind and genuinely caring people I have ever encountered. Roger took me out on the boat to go snorkel with the turtles. These beautiful giant creatures are not to be missed.
