“La maison est celle que nous recherchions, une maison typique en pierre avec ses poutres en bois à l’intérieur et les lézards à l’extérieur. Nous avons eu beaucoup de chaleur donc la piscine mise à disposition nous a bien servis. La propriétaire, bien que mon anglais ne soit pas bon du tout, a été très accueillante, avec des petits cadeaux à notre arrivée, et très souple au niveau des horaires. “We can't thank Sarah and Blake enough for a fantastic week at their Gite in Melle. They couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderful, from gifting us some English teabags, heating up our private hot tub, recommending some local food places that delivered, and allowing the kids a quick dip in the pool when we arrived past pool hours! The Gite was clean and spacious and the area peaceful and quiet. Local towns, restaurants and supermarkets were only a short drive away and even the nearest beach……

“After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. “Communication before the stay was excellent. Gite is better than the pictures. Plenty of storage space throughout. The two dogs are friendly but not a nuisance.The reviews are accurate.
