“I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible stay at Don Alfonso 1890. We felt as though we were being welcomed home by family. The atmosphere is so tranquil and relaxing, everything embellished tastefully with soft pastels of flowers and lemons and local fauna. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with an in-room coffee maker and each day we would return to our room with a tiered platter of desserts and finger sandwiches - exactly what we needed to tide us over before dinner.……

“We were expecting this hotel to be great after looking at the website and other reviews, but we were absolutely blown away. It is an absolute gem with stunning panoramic views and 5* customer service. All staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and rooms were perfect. There was a really calm, relaxing feel to the place due to the small number of rooms and attention to detail. Really can’t think of anything to fault. The local village of Sant Agata was……

“From the moment we stepped on the property, we knew we chose the right place! This place has that vacation vibe you are looking for. This is top tier, private luxury. If you are lucky enough to find Palazzo del Barone available for your stay then book it. The attention to detail is second to none. They have thought of everything. The pictures of Palazzo del Barone do not capture how absolutely gorgeous it is. This property is meticulously cleaned daily. No buffets here....your breakfast is made……

“酒店本来是个大家庭，房间很多，客人就我们一行6个人。正好意大利假期，他们大家庭聚会，很热闹。 酒店窗外就是大海，漂亮!房间也舒适，不错。 我们到达第一天的晚餐也是在酒店里，性价比很高，大厨应该就是他们家的老爷子，手艺高! 早餐是老婆婆负责的，水果盘上盖了一块布，只有几个干瘪的橘子放在显眼的地方。我要求拿布盖着的香蕉，老婆婆很不高兴的掰了个都已经发黑的递给我。我们用餐的时候，老婆婆很大声的打电话，一点都不理会我们这些客人。果汁，牛奶，酸奶量很充裕，咖啡也有好几个口味。只是，第二天，咖啡机坏了，老婆婆脸色更加难看。 以为是温泉，实际上只是一个很小型的带冲浪的游泳池而已，桑拿房也没有暖气。”

“This is a great hotel with view of Sorrento. About a 10 minute walk down to town. We took taxi to get there with luggage from ferry and then taxi back to ferry day we left. They helped us arrange a vespa for 70 euro a day that we rode to the Amalfi Coast we preferred Positano and Ravello over Amalfi too crowded. Staff was wonderful and there daily breakfast was great as well!”
