Capri Monte Tuoro Hotels

"The hotel was great but beware that if the ferries are cancelled they will still charge you for the room. All ferries from Sorrento were cancelled, so we went to Naples as the hotel told us to and spent the day waiting on ferry after ferry but all were cancelled due to weather. So there was absolutely no way to get to the island but we still had to pay for the hotel room (and another one in Naples). However, once we finally made it the next day, the hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly. "

"Beautiful hotel with superb hosts. Our receptionist was an absolute delight, very friendly and super helpful. Just a shame that we missed out on the centre of Caprì being fully open for the start of the Easter holidays. We had to cut our stay short due to ferry travel disruptions which would have had an impact on our onward travel, however the time we had on the island was really enjoyable. Highlights were the views from Villa Jovis and the Gardens of Augustus. Restaurant Panorama was fantastic. "

"Very clean in an excellent location. Views were awesome. Must thank the receptionist. He recommended a restaurant for dinner wich we went. I left my passport at the restaurant and they called the receptionist who was able to retreive it! Uff that was a close one!"

"We had a fabulous vacation! The villa suited our needs perfectly. It was spacious for our family to spread out and relax. The outdoor terraces provided amazing views over Caprì where we could enjoy family meals and space for the kids to also enjoy free time. We had some amazing lazy afternoons by the pool and early morning yoga and fitness too. There are a lot of stairs characteristic of all of the Amalfi coast and Capri and part of its charm. Combined with breathtaking views, look outs and accessible to a vast variety of restaurants and easier slopes to balance out the stairs made for a well rounded adventure where you could enjoy eating and experience “la dolce vita” and be able to walk it off. Reda was amazing in helping us figure out the island, troubleshoot logistical details and arrange day trips and shopping. Lastly the professor, Seniore Giuseppe is a most welcoming host of both his villa and the magic of Capri. We look forward to returning. "
