Heatwave in Montelimar

This is a large, spacious house in the outskirts of Montelimar, perfectly placed to see so much in the local area. Unfortunately we were there in a period of extreme heat - 40C every day and managing this became the focus of our week and limited our experiences. The house is well stocked and equipped for a large group - so the kitchen and summer kitchen by the pool are great. There is a large lawn for ball games (weather permitting!) and we loved that there is a Granny flat at the bottom of the garden - so actually privacy there was much appreciated for 1 of the bedrooms. What this does mean is that house, of 6 bedrooms has 2 bathrooms and only 1 shower. The main family bathroom has a bath with shower head but it is not on the wall and no shower curtain. If you were 10 people upstairs in the 5 bedrooms, this is not sufficient. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Montelimar.
