Perfect location right on Monterey Bay between Lovers Point and Cannery Row. GREAT way to start each day by our favorite breakfast chef Carmen - truly extraordinary with everything made from scratch. Wine and cheese happy hour each afternoon at 4:00 is a great way to meet some of the other guests. The house was built in 1888 and there was an extensive remodel 3 years ago to spruce things up a bit without losing any of its Victorian charm. We will be back - thank you!! Jack & Amy - Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Green Gables Inn is a charming property with amazing service from the staff - they are truly friendly not just courteous and efficient. The location is gorgeous with views to the ocean and access to the coastal walking track. Rooms are getting close to needing a refresh, mainly the bathroom, but a lovely stay in a quiet area close to the town centre and Lovers Point Park (definitely the best spot for a swim). Cleanliness could not be faulted in any way. Breakfasts were simple and light, changing every morning. Coffee, like most places in the US is filter coffee and not espresso but they have Illy espresso pod machines in the rooms. Pacific Grove is a wonderful spot to stay, relaxing, safe and well serviced with restaurants and an easy drive to Monterey or Carmel. Overall, a great boutique hotel in a very relaxing spot.
