"This stay was everything I needed. The staff was very helpful and considerate. My only advice to travelers is to consider taking a taxi to get there, as the walk from the train station (and vice versa) is about a half hour, mostly uphill."

"This apartment was centrally located. The bed was comfortable. No AC but the fans worked well. There are lots of stairs to get to it so not easy with luggage but not terrible. The host is very nice and easy to work with. "

"Lory and Max are warm and wonderful hosts. They helped us to book a dinner with a lovely view our arrival night; they drove us to and from the train station to avoid having to find parking on our Cinque Terra day trip; and they loaded us up with extra homemade goodies and water for our travel. The location is tucked away and quiet but not too far from town. It made for an easy and peaceful stay when visiting the coast. "We loved that the property was away from the town. After visiting the town and all the activity - it was nice to enjoy the space and the quiet. Our host's were exceptional, breakfast was more then adequate. We sat and had a glass of red wine in the evening buy it locally.
Highly recommend."

"The cleaning was ok, the room is ok also, the shops are ok, the location is perfect, the only problem was the staff, when we arrive we stay an hour waiting for someone, to open the door, and that person was very rude with us."

"Railway 74 was a great location in La Spezia. We were very close to the station, they had available luggage storage, staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean. Very great experience and would highly recommend if you’re visiting La Spezia and Cinque Terre villages."

"Tout près de la gare et très bien situé, à proximité de plusieurs restos. L’hôtel a un cachet particulier avec son décor spécial.
En plus, nous avons été accueilli dans notre langue. Merci!"
"I want to thank all the wonderful staff for being so inviting and friendly, from the reception associates, to the kitchen aids and servers and the driver Francesco. My husband and I had the best time.
Yes, the lodge is far from downtown, but this is what makes the stay 1000 times better. You are away from the crowds and the view is amazing. They also have a restaurant up there, so no need to worry about going into town to eat.
Finally, they are literally in between hiking places, so you can hike downtown to Monterosso beach or hike to Vernazza from the lodge!
Give this place a chance, it is truly amazing!"
"Such a unique property. It was an adventure to find the property but thankfully Apple Maps was a godsend. Sinage is a bit lacking but thankfully the web page provided excellent photos. Very laid back atmosphere and only a 5 min drive into town for a late night snack. Breakfast was included and was very fresh and delicious. Eggs, bacon, fresh baking, yogurt, juices, cereal cheese, and cold cuts. Excellent choices. Highlights included an incredible view and sounds of the town below, breakfast in a stone and brick basement, and hidden rooms and nooks that spark the imagination of times passed Highly recommend"
"When we first arrived at Hotel Park Argento (HPA),..our first thought was it wasn't going to be that good BUT read on...we were very wrong...it turned out to be a GREAT stay with Park Argento. The staff is awesome... Maria at the front desk, was SOOO nice and sweet....Michele (Micael) the bartender (who makes the best Espresso Martini I've ever had...BY FAR) and Georgio the waiter at Guido Restaurant on site were all incredible people. AND let me not forget all the women who worked so hard at breakfast, so friendly and accommodating, not joking...they felt like friends by the time we left. They responded so quickly and pleasantly all the time.
The rooms are really spacious, the bathroom is ok, the showers are really tiny although the water pressure is great.
The pool area is also really comfortable...nice chairs and the Hotel provides bathrobes and slippers for everyone in the rooms. Also..the Spa area is sort of connected to the pool area and I did a massage and ooooh....SOOO good!
The little drawback is that its not in Cinque Terre...its one town removed to the northeast. It's the 1st stop on the train after Monterosso so its not that bad. You do get used to it after a couple days and HPA offers a free pick up shuttle from both the train and city center too. Like I said earlier...very nice. All-in-all I, would recommend them...and don't judge the book by its cover."
"Everywhere was clean and tidy with staff working hard to maintain this. Our room was a good size , as was the bathroom and we has a beautiful view. Plenty of choice at breakfast; the women who manage breakfast are amazing and very well organised all with a smile on their faces. The pool area is tranquil and calm - plenty of beds available when we stayed. Thank you for a lovely stay"
