Paz y tranquilidad en Galicia

Nos ha gustado mucho pasar las vacaciones en un entorno rural muy tranquilo, una aldea pequeño con granjas cerca. El apartamento en sí tiene mucho espacio y nos encontrábamos cómodos y con todo lo que necesitamos.

Casa de Begoña y Suso

Nos ha encantado el alojamiento de Begoña y Suso, el apartamento es muy acogedor y tiene todo lo que necesitas. Disfrutamos de una semana de estancia en esta casa. Nos gustó mucho la reciente reforma hecha. Realmente bonita por dentro y por fuera. Situada a mitad de camino de muchos sitios dispares a los que visitar.

Pleasant and peaceful location in rural Galicia.

The owner Begoña was very helpful in welcoming us and later in dealing with our requests. Beds were very comfortable; good bathroom; useful laundry room. The heating was very welcome. We can recommend visits to Sta Eulalia near Lugo, Vilar de Donas and the Froiz supermarket in Monterroso.

Great home for families

Great place in the countryside. Begoña is great to work with and she is very responsive. Perfect getaway place for a family with lots of room. Not too far from shops and restaurants in Monterroso. WiFi was not very good. Overall we really liked our stay!

Agréable détente

Une vieille maison en pierre rénovée avec goût, de beaux volumes dans un environnement campagne. Begoña nous a contacté très rapidement par Whatsapp (application indispensable en Espagne pour communiquer) et la remise des clefs s'est déroulée à l'heure prévue sans problèmes. Nous avons profité avec les enfants des jeux mis à disposition (table de ping pong, jeux de société...). La voiture peut se garer dans le grand jardin. Nous avons visité les lieux touristiques dans un périmètre d'une heure de voiture environ (c'est le tarif pour aller quelque part car c'est à la campagne). Pour ceux qui veulent aller à la plage il faut prévoir bien davantage, il faut le savoir et les routes sont dans un état moyen. Lits impeccables, salle de bains OK, cuisine fonctionnelle. Si on doit retourner dans cette région je relouerai volontiers cette maison.

Appartement extrement propre et fonctionnel, Le calme de la campagne

Nous avons passé 10 jours extrêmement reposants ! La campagne environnante se prête à de jolies promenades. L'endroit assez central permet de visite aisément la Galice ( Lugo 30min, Ourense Santiago1h. Vigo ou La Corogne sont un peu plus loin. Comptez 1h30 à 2h. Plage magnifique d'aguieira a 1h30, Merci aux Propriétaires pour cette recommandation! Coup de cœur pour les bains thermaux publique d'Ourense.

Ótimos dias de férias

Quando estávamos escolhendo um destino para passar nossas férias, pensávamos em um lugar onde a tranquilidade e o contato com o meio-ambiente fossem prioritários. Após algumas pesquisas de destinos com essas características, nos surgiu um que parecia ser excelente. Localizada no interior de Galícia encontramos uma casa que superou nossas expectativas em termos de alojamento rural. Além da ótima localização, em meio a natureza abundante e de paisagens surreais, a estrutura da mesma ofereceu conforto, bem-estar, comodidade (levando-se em conta a amplitude de seus cômodos), além de excelente estado de conservação e limpeza. A casa ainda possui uma localização estratégica, levando-se em conta a proximidade com as cidades de Lugo (aproximadamente 40 minutos), Santiago de Compostela que fica a 1 hora, além de estar próxima ao Castelo de Pambre com uma distancia de apenas 4 km, e de Monterroso (cidade que dispõe de uma estrutura com supermercados, bares, restaurantes, etc.) Além do que já foi dito, para completar nossa satisfação, fomos muito bem recebidos pela Sra. Begoña. Sempre muito prestativa e atenciosa para conosco. Finalmente, deixamos aqui nossa recomendação a quem busca paz e contato com a natureza em um dos lugares mais incríveis desse planeta.

Two relaxing weeks in the heart of Galicia

We spent ahugely enjoyable and relaxing 2.5 weeks here in July/August 2013 as part of a 7 month tour of Spain. This was the largest and best equipped particularly the kitchen!) of all of the places we stayed (20+). The apartment is owned by a local family and Begona, who manages the place, could not have been more welcoming or helpful even going so far as to have a present waiting for our baby daughter in her cot when we arrived. Again of all the places we rented none of the owners were friendlier or kinder than Begona. The apartment is in a tiny hamlet amid rolling hills and farmland about 5km north of Monterroso, and is as peaceful a place as you will find. The neighbours were all incredibly welcoming to us as well even and made us feel right at home. Monterroso itself has a couple of supermarkets, plenty of bars/cafés with a weekly market and other shops you could need. In addition, from July - September there is a beautiful swimming pool/river swimming complex that is completely free, with a bar/restaurant and plenty of shade. Days could easily be passed there! The apartment is the lower floor of a traditional farmhouse, complete with metre thick walls that keep the place cool in summer. The apartment is very well located for visiting inland Galicia, just over 30 minutes from Lugo with its stunning city walls, and an hour from Santiago and Ourense. This is rural holidaying at its best and most relaxing, run by locals, and far from the crowds that descend on coastal Galicia in the summer. If you are interested in exploring inland Galicia or just want a break away from it all Begona's apartment comes highly recommended.
