Great get away

This place was great! Very comfortable, cute, peaceful and convenient to town. We enjoyed eating breakfast out on the picnic table, while watching a momma deer and her two spotted babies playing in the field. Owners were very responsive to any and all questions we had.

Great little place

The property is beautiful and the cottage is awesome! Our son is at the University of Alabama which is an hour away, it’s perfect for our trips to visit the school. So quiet and peaceful!! Loved it!

Perfect Little Spot

We were in town for a softball tournament. The cottage was perfect location and had everything we needed and more. The animals were so fun and it was a nice touch to be able to say Good Morning to them before leaving for ball. Great spot!

A wonderful experience

Beautiful scenery, quiet, and peaceful. The cottage was whimsical and had just what we needed to feel at home. The managers of the property were helpful, super friendly, and make checking in/out a breeze. You won't be disappointed! We will be back, and hopefully soon!

Cutest Cottage Ever

This was our 4th stay at The Cottage, and we ALWAYS love it. Cozy and convenient to Montevallo with all the amenities including full kitchen and washer/dryer. The setting is idyllic and the bed is very comfortable. Sleep well and wake up to the birds and beautiful sounds of nature.

Christmas Day check in

It was an unexpected sweet little efficient place. We happened to come right after a storm. The owner was very accommodating even with us arriving a little early. There was a small fire pit outside. We collected as much debris from the storm and kept a nice fire going. It was a nice respite for us. Many kudos to the owners!

Wonderful place to decompress and rest!

We loved staying in The Cottage. The cottage was perfect for us. We loved watching the sheep and protective donkey! Highly recommend.

It was very nice…the grounds, the animals, inside the cottage…the only thing was the trolley wasn’t in good condition to eat inside…the owner was nice enough to gather the sheeps so we could have a close up with them

Cute and quaint

Property was beautiful. Close to city but plenty of private space. Enjoyed the farm animals and the hammock by the lake. Owner very nice. Highly recommend.
