"Me encontre con una habitacion pequeña, aunque yo viajara sola. Esto no contribuyo a la comodidad. El baño tenia hormigas, que atendio el personal de limpieza. Me gusto que tuviese neverita. La tv no tenia buena recepcion pues la wifi no funcionaba bien. A mi me tocó con balcón que daba a la parte interior del edificio, que tenia un deposisto, no sé si de gas. No era una buena vista. Para personas que no tenemos coches el transporte es bueno para ir a Benidorm y subir a la playa. Sin embargo...

Hotel Bahía Calpe by Pierre & Vacances

8/10 Good

"It’s a fabulous location at one end of the main beach in Calpe, right by the town centre and lots of shops and restaurants. The two pools are nice, the roof top one is great but there’s no shade at all, except for a couple of little corners at certain times of day. Our room was fine, comfy beds, clean, nice balcony with rack for drying towels and swimwear. Big enough for two adults and a 13 year old. All the basic amenities: fridge, hairdryer, tea. Only negative was the breakfast room is loud when it’s busy, coffee machines aren't fast or numerous enough and tables can take a while to be cleaned in between people. However there was a good selection of choices, fruit, cereal, breads, pastries, cheese, sliced meat, fresh tomatoes through to a full cooked breakfast or made to order omelettes. I’d say it was good value given the location and facilities. More than adequate for 4 stars, would need a bit of a refresh in some areas and bit more attention to detail to make it exceptional. Ps salads and sandwiches at the roof top bar were okay but the burger wasn’t great quality meat. Hugo spritz cocktail is worth a try Pps Beniconnect buses drop and pick up right at the door"

"This is a centrally located hotel in the old quarters of the city. We booked the triple room and were pleasantly surprised at how large and comfortable the room was. The hotel is a converted home from the mid 1800’s. It still has a lot of its classic touches, such as the flooring, doors, shelving. We loved it. It reminded me of my great grandparents home. The location was great and within walking distance to the port. They offered breakfast. The staff was great and super friendly. Parking was off site, but they have it all worked out. We took several day trips from Denia."
