The Space:

**MARCH 2026: We're in the process of upgrading some furniture and decor. There will be 2 large green sofas and 2 new arcade machines in the living room. The front bedroom now has a twin/twin bunkbed and a King bed. The back bedroom now has a queen/queen bunkbed and a King bed. All the other amenities remain the same. New pictures coming soon ;)

The Neighborhood:

The Plateau Mont-Royal, this popular area that became yuppie-bohemian is by far the most hip in Montreal. Small intimate theaters, thrift stores, used bikes, exclusive boutiques, cafes, restaurants and delis add to the cultural ferment and bohemian atmosphere that characterize the Plateau, where all lifestyles converge.



This is the best place to really get a feel of what Montreal is all about. It’s community is predominantly francophone and highly eclectic. Artists, students, young professionals and new families mingle with each other, creating an extraordinarily vibrant and colorful human mosaic. Those who do not live there come as often as possible to play and go out, and for good reasons...



Four major arteries are heart the neighborhood: The Saint-Laurent Boulevard - "The Main" - where many cultural communities have established their shops, the Rue Saint-Denis and its multitude of shops, cafes and terraces, Prince Arthur Street and its restaurants "Bring your own wine" and the Mount Royal Avenue with bars both connected and relaxed. A constant hum contrasts with the tranquility of the side streets, the lined up stairs of twisted wrought iron, as well as the lush greenery of Parc La Fontaine.



At night, the Plateau is known to be especially entertaining and warm. From chic lounge to corner microbreweries, from a wide variety of restaurants and taverns to high caffeine content and lively discussions of all it’s coffee shops, the choice is rich. From the Airport, you can take bus 747 all the way to metro station Berri-Uqam. From there use the metro up to station Mont-Royal (only 2 stations). The apartment is within a short 650 m walk.

Great Location and Price!

The place is right off the the street in Mont-Royal. Very convenient location to walk to pretty much anything. Host was very friendly, sending information and updates. Super responsive and great sized place for everyone. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to visit Montreal!

This place was perfect for our group. The area is very nice and the apartment itself overlooks the street from the 2nd floor. The loft is entirely yours when you are there so it is nice and quiet. It also has tons of space to hang out and comfortably slept 9 of us. The hosts were very prompt and helpful. They even went out of their way to immediately ship back some AirPods we left by accident. 10/10

Great apartment

We had a wonderful stay at The Entertainer with our family of 6. The apartment was as advertised, and was a great fit for us. The location could not be beat! It was a wonderful neighborhood that had everything we needed. Plenty of restaurants, stores and a grocery store conveniently nearby. Less than 10 minute walk to the metro station. The MTLV Vacation Team were in constant contact via email before and during our visit. We did not have to bother them during our visit, but I'm sure they would have responded promptly! I definitely recommend this property or any property managed by this team!

Wonderful snowy cozy spot

We loved it here! We got lucky with fresh snow, the larking was then in our favor as no one could check out time. The place was so convenient to the Metro and groceries. If we had bettwr shoes we would ha e explored more on foot but we enjoyed everything about our neighborhood and the house. It was so well stocked and even had coffee pods! Thank you for putting additional veds in the bedrooms so we could all be together comfortably without haveing to find a giant house or multiple hotel rooms.

Great location

We really loved this location! It had great shopping, restaurants, markets, and the nearby subway. I also love that we had the option to park for a fee. Our host kindly offered this. The hosts were also super responsive and helpful. The name of the listing, the entertainer, is accurate. We were a family visiting but I think this would do well for a young group of friends. No frills or plushness, other than the TV, pool table, and extra sleeping quarters, but a solid stay for larger groups. Other things we liked: the kitchen was well stocked, unlimited coffee pods, and big table for eating. A couple of recommendations: a hamper so that used towels don’t have to be stored on the floor, not having to take out our own trash, and more towels since there isn’t a washer.

Fantastic!

This apartment rental exceeded our expectations. It was sparkling, exactly as pictured and well appointed with little extras like spices, olive oil and coffee and sugar! The Mont-Royal neighbourhood was unexpected in the best possible way. In the summer this street is turned into pedestrian only with trees, planters, Adirondack seating and outdoor cafes spilling out into the street. So fun! And the management of this property was outstanding. An online Q&A with everything we may want to know about the property, the neighbourhood and the city. Communication was just excellent. Great apartment in a lively neighborhood :-)

We stayed 1 week at the Entertainer and had a wonderful time! The pool table was definitely a plus as it snowed for 2 days and was a perfect way to spend fun time all together. The apartment was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We arrived very late the 1st night but coordinated with the team in advance and everything went very smoothly. They were very responsive and helpful. We even had a leak problem that did not really impact us but they sent somebody right away to look at it. The location is great with plenty of food options and small convenience stores in walking distance. We chose not to rent a car and did every thing either taking the subway, which is a 10 min walk or using Uber which was nearly the same price for our family of 4. The only thing that could improve the place is adding a washer/dryer but there are options in the street if you really need to wash some clothes, so I would definitely recommend this place to people willing to visit Montreal.

Pefect Location and Property

My family's stay was completely amazing. The location was ideal. We were celebrating my mother's 90t birthday in Montreal. The management team was very thoughtful and hand delivered a birthday card to my mother on her birthday. She was incredibly grateful for the gesture and thoughtfulness. The property was just the right size and design for our group. It felt like home. We will be making this an annual visit and hope we can stay at the "Entertainer" whenever we visit Montreal. We are planning a return visit in September to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We are looking forward to it. In addition to the staff's politeness, their response time was impeccable and reliable. Whether I called or sent an email during my stay, I received an immediate response to my questions. They were also extremely helpful in locating a bakery for me to order a birthday cake for my mother. I cannot say enough how the hospitality and professionalism of the MTL Vacations Staff was simply incredible. Thank you for an amazing stay in Montreal!

Squeaks and Squawks

We loved our stay in Montreal. The flat was squeaky clean and had all the amenities of home. The location in superb. We didn't think we'd use the pool table at all but as it turned out we used it a fair amount. The only thing that I would mention is that both of the king beds made so much noise they were almost unusable. Anytime you adjusted during the night they protested with a loud squawk. There are two smaller beds in the flat so it wasn't a big deal for us to use the other beds instead. I mention it because something clearly needs adjusting/repair.

Great for our girls weekend!

This little city apartment was perfect for our mother/daughter girls weekend! The location is fabulous - walking distance to everything! The space was comfortable with plenty of bedding and towels for a large group. The kitchen was fairly well equipped although we didn't do much of our own cooking. When we sent email questions to the rental personnel they responded immediately. Again, a great place for a weekend in Montreal!

Great Getaway

My family of four as well as my brothers family of five all stayed at this located for three nights. The place is very clean and has a great location. Our kids loved coming back at night after exploring and playing pool or checking out all the games on the video game. We also had a movie night and utilized Netflix on the large tv. Having a full kitchen was great also. We were able to pick up snacks/breakfast at the local store which is just a little walk down the road. Large dining room table made it great for us all to enjoy eating with each other. Bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels. Living area had enough room for all us to be in it together without feeling crowed. The only thing that we did not like was the two King beds (the mattresses were great) but the frame or base that they are on made so much noise every time someone moved that it would wake you up. My family slept in the front room and I would recommend bringing a fan or noise machine because you can hear everyone outside talking at late hours as well. Linen was provided but I would also recommend bringing an extra blanket or two. Parking was not too difficult you can pay for a spot that is some what close by. Plenty of food options and small convenience stores in walking distance. A short distance to tourist attractions. We visited the Montreal Tower Observatory, Montreal Insectarium, Botanical Gardens, Museum of Fine Art, and the Underground City. You can either drive to these place or take public transportation. There is also a park that is in walking distance. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay here and our visit to Montreal. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Montreal.

Very professional folks to deal with in making the reservations. Check in process was smooth and our host was most courteous. Accommodations were very clean and well appointed and the place was filled with extras. Would def stay with these folks again next time in Montreal.

Location of apartment was very nice and convenient to many local shops and restaurants as well as easy walk to train station. but everything about the apartment was very dated. the primarily bathroom's faucet and shower controls were hanging on barely and not very up to date. the kitchen was very well worn, the pool table was in poor shape with one pool cue that was functional. pull out sofa had someone's used old sheets still in them and in a mess. a group of five guys here for the race so we were quite tolerant but at the price we paid we were very disappointed.

Cozy place in convenient location

The entertainer is a good name for this accommodation. With the arcade game, netflix, pool table, you can definitely stay entertained while at the apartment. The apartment is also in a convenient location with restaurants, bars, and grocery stores near by. The night life is also a pretty short uber ride away. Lastly, the apartment was very clean and comfortable to be in. I would say the only issue I had is I thought there was a washer and dryer, but we could not locate it. Other than that, the hosts were friendly and accommodating and I would definitely recommend staying and would stay again myself.

Great location but could use some updating

First off the location is perfect. Dozens of restaurants bars and shopping all within a few blocks. The apartment was very clean and stocked appropriately. Checking in and out was easy and the booking process went smooth. Our only problems however had to do with the arcade and pool table. Having a 9 and 11 year old the main reason we booked was because of these two features. Upon arriving we were told the arcade system was broken. Understandable but we could have booked the exact same apartment a few blocks away for about $200 less so that was a bit frustrating. Upon first glance the pool table looked fine but half of the sticks are broken or unusable and the pockets kept falling out when you would make a shot. Again not a deal-breaker but very easy to fix and would make my three stars go to a five if both of these were functioning properly. Would love to visit Montreal again in the summer and would definitely stay here again as long as both of these are corrected!!

A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with off the street parking on Mont-Royal. It is a spacious fully equipped apartment to entertain your self along with your guests. We highly recommend staying there as we intend to return and stay at this great place in the future.
