“We enjoyed our stay so much. We loved driving around to see the Bald Eagles. It was warm outside and a perfect vacation. The rental was very nice as well. We will be visiting this property again. Thank you for making it perfect and comfortable for us.”

“We were checking in late so called them and they gave us nice instructions, everything. Was great. We booked 2 rooms and they gave us adjoining so we could open the door and hang out as a family. Even though we were late, we were greeted by the host and given recommendations for dinner. Very nice and clean place, great comfortable beds. ”

“Perfect location for our visit; one block from the Nauvoo Temple. The apartment is well stocked and the four bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for a large group. Parking is right on the street and so easy, steps from the front door. We ate at the lower level restaurant for multiple meals and it was great quality and price. The apartment is quiet and cozy and everything you would want for stopping in this small town. ”

“We had 33 or so family members meet at this location for Thanksgiving. Overall is was a great experience. The headliner is the view of the Mississippi. The property is up on a hill and provides a gorgeous view. Lisa was very responsive to all of our needs. Note that alcohol is not permitted at this location (on my phone that detail was slightly hidden in the rules section under “show more.” Thanks for a great property to reconnect with a large family!”

“House built in 1901 so has uneven floors, but you couldn’t ask for a more charming place. So clean accommodations and everything you need to make your stay pleasurable. I would recommend and will be booking it again!!”

“We were only in town for a couple of nights and had a uniquely fun experience in Nauvoo. Beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. Kitchen was sparsely stocked with pans but doable for a meal for 6. We were warned about the lack of grocery stores in Nauvoo and planned accordingly. Overall we enjoyed the quirkiness of multiple additions to a charming old house.”

“There was just four of us and plenty of beds to spare. Sleeps 10. Very clean home that was space for all. Great location for what we had scheduled- Nauvoo/Carthage. Each night went to keokuk Iowa to shop. Great little Mexican restaurant in Hamilton called El Camino real. Home sit on corner lot plenty of space to park and quite neighborhood. Thanks”

“Nauvoo was a mid point ti meet a family member and continue work on our family tree. The historical site was the main reason we chose Nauvoo. A little search on Vrbo, we found a historic home to stay in. What a treat! The rental was beyond the price point we usually seek but the home was the cherry on top of a wonderful visit. “The property is just what you would expect nestled on a ridge overlooking the Mississippi River. There were a few dead bugs inside, but (as someone who lives in the MidSouth) that is to be expected in the summer. The owner obviously took steps to prevent live bugs and spiders inside. Lots of room to spread out. The views are incredible! We enjoyed our stay overall.”
