“We had an excellent stay. The cabin and grounds offered a private and peaceful getaway (which was exactly what we were looking for). The property had trails, a pond, fenced in vineyard, beautiful views and plenty of wildlife ... not to mention farm fresh eggs! The cabin was very well appointed and had everything we needed. Most importantly our dog gave this place a "two paws up" review! Can't rave enough about the hosts! Communication was great and they were readily available if we needed……

“We loved our stay at Cedar's Rest. The cabin was immaculate and in the perfect location for enjoying the historical sights of Bedford and other nearby attractions. Bryan and Christy thought of everything that travelers need, including providing plenty of electrical outlets where guests need power. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the wildlife and birds as we relaxed on the porch and on the hammock. We would love to return!”

“Squirrel's Nest is an absolutely charming cottage in a quaint town. Great location & perfect for our needs. We only stayed a weekend, to attend the Sounds of the Mountains storytelling festival at nearby Camp Bethel. We hope to go back when we can stay longer, to see more of the town & surrounding area.”

“This was just what we needed. It was nice to unplug for a few days and just enjoy our family with no distractions. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We made s’mores on the fire and cooked steaks on the grill. There is a lot of things to do within a short distance.”

“Loved the location, privacy, and quiet surroundings. Everything was great, and the water was just like any other Sulphur water. It has a smell, but it works! Plus, there was a full bottle of water in the water cooler when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and watching the ducks float by. We communicated both with Evolve, and with the local contact, and everyone was helpful and quick to reply. Would not hesitate to stay again!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the woods! Plenty close to all Natural Bridge attractions and not far from Lexington either! My husband and I and two kids (6 and 3) loved this area and the scenery and fresh air I it here. Sun room and sound of the brook was very peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and black out shades were on every window in master bedroom, including the upper windows, making a very comfortable night’s sleep. Spacious bedrooms too. “Marvelous location in the woods - secluded and quiet. The cabin is really nice - outside and inside. Hosts are great and if needed available and great. Campfires, walks, relaxing with family and friends. Awesome time and Great time. A winner!!”

“Pros: Very quiet, comfortable beds, pretty views and sounds from the creek, hospitable and helpful host - con: slight sulfur smell from the water at times (which was disclosed and harmless), but it didn’t last and we didn’t find it bothersome. All in all, this was a well equipped and nicely located cabin which I would recommend.”
