「The villa had all the amenities we could require. It provided a very comfortable and homely base to stay. However little things like a broom was broken and the coffee machine didn't work should not happen.」

「Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

「Das Haus liegt in mitten einer malerischen Berglandschaft, fernab von öffentlichen Straßen und Massentourismus. Wer die Ruhe sucht, wird hier fündig. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter ist das Haus einfach perfekt, da man es sich vor dem Kamin oder am Lagerfeuer gemütlich machen kann und einfach das Alleinsein genießen kann. 」

The property was lovely-- great views, very good location, excellent restaurants nearby, close to waterfront and the ferry. The number of steep steps came as a little bit of a surprise.」
