"The cabin is exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable, from the living area to the well equipped kitchen and bathrooms to the wonderful deck!! It is in a secluded area perched in the trees where you are immersed in nature. The location is great for getting into Pisgah Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Gorges State Park and Dupont Forest. Mandi is excellent to work with and provided easy to follow, detailed directions. We hated to leave!"

"We had an excellent week at Mine Mountain. It was only a short drive to Pisgah NF and to downtown Brevard. We spent a lot of time in the National Forest - Sliding rock and several waterfalls. Our grandchildren loved Crystal Mountain Gem Mine. We also enjoyed the breweries that were kid and dog-friendly. The house was clean and well-stocked. We cooked every night and used the grill. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire ring and making s'mores. Be aware that there are other houses next door. One was under renovations (construction noise starting at 7 am). The other with a huge black dog. The neighbor woman got very angry and yelled at me when she was walking her big black dog and our (20 lb) dog barked at her dog. From up the hill on the other side of the road, her dog kept lunging and she seemed barely able to keep it under control."
