I love how we were able to walk to the beach, have breakfast there and book any aquatic or ATV activities. Walking to restaurants at night was a little different because it was dark, but we had two phones to iluminate road. I would stay here again.

Very nice clean and cozy property with small kitchen that we didn't use and washer/dryer. I would carry detergent sheets or tablets if you plan to do laundry. There Sunset views were incredible. The shower left there while bathroom wet as it is not well designed but it meet our needs and didn't take away from this being a great stay.

Beach house was clean. Location couldn’t be better. Ocean front. It’s a little beat up but clean. There are some small bugs but to be expected with an open air house. We loved the big patio doors that opened up the entire house. AC in the bed room was great. The bed on the main floor mattress was awful though. We had to find a small section where the springs weren’t digging in to us. The only recommendation I have for the place is to get a better bed. The kitchen was minimally stocked but had enough to cook meals with.

Wonderful place!

We had a very pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Residence in Moorea. The location is excellent — very convenient and right next to a beautiful lagoon. The property is peaceful and well-maintained, and we especially enjoyed the tennis court and the large outdoor terrace. Our unit was well equipped with a washing machine, a dryer, and a fully functional kitchen, which made our stay very comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only small downside is that coffee is not provided and needs to be purchased separately. Overall, it was a great stay and we would happily return in the future.

Our bungalow was spotless. The staff were helpful. The location was good. Our main complaint is that it is advertised as on the beach with beach views. Our bungalow was next to the road and most in the complex were a 2-4 min walk from the beach. We felt it was misleading. If this isn’t important to you, you will love it here.

Easy stay near the beach

Excellent location with rooms a very short walk to the beach. Fully stocked kitchen made cooking in the room easy, and in room laundry was very convenient. There is no housekeeping during the stay which can be tough on a longer stay, particularly the beach towels. Room was very basic but clean and comfortable enough.

Beautiful place to relax and watch the sunset. Well maintained, need a car to acess the location but plenty of restaurants near by. Also, close to cocobeach. Beach area nice and can rent boats or kyaks from the beach.

I stayed in a 1st floor suite. + The suite was nicer than expected - modern, fresh, and with a spacious bathroom. From the balcony, I had a lovely view of the mountains and even a glimpse of the sea. The reception area was cool and welcoming, and it was great that I could store my luggage there and purchase water before check-in. I also appreciated being within a short walk of a sandy beach and a 5min walk from a grocery store. - The property is designed for car access, so there’s no paved path for rolling a suitcase from the reception. Note: the 1st floor suites are accessible only by stairs, so you’ll need to be able to carry your bag up. If you can't better choose the garden suites. Overall, a great stay - I’d happily return.

We loved the location, across the lagoon from Coco Beach and restaurant on the Motu, best snorkeling on the island right adjacent to it. The walkabout reef was awesome in front of Sunset Beach, tons of wildlife. One suggestion I would give is if you rent here, purchase some beach chairs as there are none on the beach. Would stay here again any time!!!

Great place to stay on Mo’orea

We enjoyed this clean, comfortable well appointed apart-hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome. The location was extremely convenient, close to several restaurants and just a short walk from the beach. We would gladly stay again

Excellent location (with a hire car) we were in a refurbished bungalow (they seem to be upgrading a lot of their bungalows) Easy stroll through the grounds to the beach. Fabulous restaurant close by which he music and traditional dancers
