"We had a wonderful stay at Schloss Hotel & Spa in Zermatt. The location is excellent - just a short walk from the train ststion, which made arriving and getting around very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was also a great perk, with good selection to start the day.
We initially booked two rooms with a living room and kitchen for a group of six, thinking they would accommodate everyone. However, we were informed the room occupancy limit was strictly ficr guests , so we needed to book an additional room. While this was an unexpected expense, we understood and respected the hotel’s policy.
It’s worth noting thet the fifth guest would have been accommodated on a bed in a living room, and even the 6th guest could have used the sofa on the living area, so space-wise it felt like it could have worked. That said, we also understand the hotel’s official capacity rules.
Overall, the hotel was comfortable, conveniently located, and the staff were professional in enforcing their policies. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt."
