Great scenery, beautiful cabin

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have a large group and there was lots of space for everyone. The cabin is lovely and clean with spectacular views.

UP Getaway

Hosts are accommodating and friendly, easy to get a hold of. House has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s an hour and a half to both Pictured Rocks and Kitch-iti-Kipi.

Stunning views of Lake Michigan in a stylish log home

Five stars all the way. This home is stunning and loaded with all you need for a wonderful stay in Moran, MI. The log home has so much character, you will spend hours just taking in all there is architecturally and interior design wise. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for all your food prep needs. Plenty of hot water for showers for all who stay here. The view all day long from the deck is A, Lake Michigan for miles. Highly recommend this home for your next vrbo stay.

Comfortable and Quaint

This cabin is much nicer than the listing says it is. This cabin is full of beautiful and comfortable details all in the shadow of the amazing and beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The beach is a secluded getaway. The owner is very responsive and helpful in every way needed.

Beach vacation

We had a great time at this property. The beach location was beautiful- watching the moon over the lake at night and listening to the waves was the highlight! The only issue we encountered was a smell in the downstairs from the previous renters who flooded the downstairs bathroom. The property owners were up front about the issue however and did their best to dry things out for us. Would rent again!

Probably best for Adults. Beach and lake view are fantastic!

1) House & property seem best for adults. We had two 18mth olds, and had to be super vigilant that no one was falling off the deep edge of yard, or deck as it no longer has railing as pictured. But deck was great for adults to enjoy the lake view. 2) Beach area was great! (yes-80 steps) Everyone enjoyed it very much! Miles to walk and enjoy with very few people. There were beach chairs and umbrella to use. 3) A few points on the house (expectations for this price point per night)...both doors from living room to deck broken and unable to use. Door to upstairs bedroom wouldn't close (toddler sleeping in there). Ceiling fan/light in living room broken. Picture window in living room is stained and not very pretty to look out. Fire pit is a bit awkwardly placed between the edge of the yard and a retaining paver wall around a tree. 4) Blackstone Grill (not a traditional grill) which was great. Kitchen was well stocked. 5) Toddlers enjoyed Garlyn Zoo 15 minutes west.

Family Vacation - Adult Children/Spouse & Grandchildren

The Wildwood Cabin was Phenomenal!! Beautifully situated and appointed. Perfectly located for many Upper Peninsula Michigan day trips. We had a party of 12 with age ranges from 1.5 yr to adults - plenty of room and everyone loved our time there! Overall a wonderful stay!!!

Family Summer Vacation

Outstanding property. Great views, great house, great amenities. It was very easy to relax and have a great family outing. Would recommend to anyone that wanted a place to get away from it all.

It was just “OK”. Two of the windows wouldn’t open; two of the doors to the back were broken - host just told us to use the sliding door.Place has three ceiling fans & none of them work; the host told me: “yeah, we need to get those fixed”. They did provide some floor fans.The place was clean and well-stocked with towels & beach chairs. The steps to the beach (70) are very steep and overgrown with weeds. The beach is nice and the views from the cabin are great. Fire pit was nice.

Unparalleled views of Lake Michigan, from 5-Star private resort.

Beautiful cedar-laden home, situated on a south facing steep bluff on Lake Michigan. Top quality furnishing and appliances/utensils. Masterfully decorated, does not have that "rental" feel, more like a home. Cushy couches, comfortable beds, numerous personal touches. Like going to Grandmas, if your Grandma, is really, really cool (and a professional interior decorator). Can't described "The Chair" except that I felt like a Norse God while sitting in it. I always judge VRBO rentals by value, never the nightly rate. Wildwood get a 5-Star rating. And definitely try the pastie shop across the road...

Family spring trip 2022

Great property over looking lake Michigan. Home was very spacious. My son enjoyed the downstairs it was like his own little apartment . Beds very comfortable. Views were fantastic. Would rent again. Only one drawback 80 stairs to get down to the beach.

Beautiful spot

We spent time there as a family (four generations, seven adults, three children ages 1, 1, and 3) for three nights. Our son thought is was much better than the pictures, and my wife thought is was what she expected. We spent the time in the house, yard, and on the beach, and also some of us did a walk from the home. The noise from US 2, mentioned in some reviews, was barely noticeable. The kitchen had everything we needed. All of the logs used in the tables, beds, chairs, stairs, etc., is really impressive. The beach was great--you can walk for miles to the NW, while when you go to the SE most beach walkers would be stopped by trees/brush in 1-2 miles. Some of us went into the water (even in September!). We used the outdoor campfire and that went well. As you walk along the beach, we were surprised how few neighbors had steps down to the beach--most of the lots along the shore are undeveloped and the cliff is steep so you cannot see most of the houses that have been built.
