“Our family of 11 had a great time this weekend at hubbard shores. Yes, the water levels are low but that is Texas at the current time. The house and property are beautiful. Communication with owners was easy and great. Easy access to property as well. Listing says it sleeps 12 but I would say 10 unless you have 3 people sleeping in the king size beds. You do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the back bedroom. The 3 bathrooms are great and plenty of storage. Also washer & dryer……

“Our first time to stay in treehouse type VRBO and we were pleasantly surprised with this experience. David has done an amazing job to create the perfect setting for peace and relaxation. We loved it and look forward to staying at other options on this property. Hanging out with nature including hummingbirds, cows, horses, beautiful views was just what we needed. “We loved our stay at the lake cabin. Great beds, nice kitchen, ac works great, water pressure and temperature was good also. The upstairs bedroom has a deck and a beautiful view. The stairs down to the dock are pretty steep but just like the listing said it is. Definitely worth the stay. We are already trying to figure out a long weekend that we can come back and stay.”

“Loved this property so much that we booked again for a few weekends after our first stay! The house has such character and is super clean! The back patio overlooking the lake was so nice to grill out on and hangout at as well. The ambiance is just so perfect! There are two additional spots to relax at and enjoy the view of the lake on the way down to the dock. The landscaping and lights were very nice as well. The dock was easy for my husband to maneuver around and fish off of and it is lit at……

“I very much enjoyed our stay at cabin #4. It was a very basic setup inside the cabin, yet comfortable. Had everything we needed. The best part was the private dock, where we enjoyed a full day of fishing. The scenery was beautiful as well. We enjoyed a few hikes, getting to know the landscape while we were there. Overall a beautiful & peaceful escape from the city life.”

I have a son with special needs and Garys wife was very sweet to him. He wanted to feed the cows and she took the time to bring afew down so he could.(alot of people are not very nice to people like my son)But she was very kind to him.
