"The staff was very helpful but we were very disappointed about the overall condition of the hotel and rooms which were very tired and in the process of being renovated. The restaurant was closed as a consequence. We paid quite a lot for the room much more than was advertised locally and had no knowledge of the disruption. Nothing on Expedia. "We spent one night at La Source Bleu whilst travelling through France. What a fantastic hotel. Nathalie and the team (Sandrine, Amina and Julien) are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very nice, and a lot of thought has gone into furnishing the hotel as a whole. There is a great backstory to the hotel, which is very much a family business, and the setting is absolutely wonderful with a stunning lake filled by a natural spring. The evening meal was superb thanks to the amazing chef (and owner) Francois. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning in the future."
