"Room was very warm only small fan, clean room. Staff were very friendly and helpful , food was great, bar needed more choice of drinks. would def stay again."

"We had a lovely stay here. All the staff working here were brilliant. The front desk reception were incredibly friendly and helpful with all our queries, and all the people who helped us at breakfast were friendly and prompt with any requests we had. The room itself was very comfortable, but upgrading to the Executive room wasn't worth the extra money over the Double room, unless you need room for an extra bed or to get dressed. The hotel is very well located, a short walk from loads of great restaurants, bars, and a lovely park across the road. Another niggle was the £12 charge for car parking, for this price, parking should be included. Overall, I would stay here again."

"It was only a one night visit (we were going to Longborough opera) and we did not eat or even breakfast there. So I can comment only on the room, which was fine with everything that you you would want, and the host who was very welcoming and solicitous. The Victoria cafe, close by, is excellent for breakfast."

"Really nice historical property in primary location. Stayed in room 115 which may be the best room on the property. Large and historically decorated. King James spent several nights at the property when it was a simple coach house. Nice restaurant on site but recommend reservations at both hotel and restaurant at the same time, as the area is not that large and very popular. Within easy walking distance of the train station, grocery store and many local historical sites. Front desk was very helpful. Great town to use as an introduction the Cotswolds."

"Cannot recommend this hotel enough! It’s clean, modern and the staff are friendly. It was very inexpensive (may not be all the time but we got a great deal) so honestly I really shouldn’t complain. I really liked the idea of having a water tap (hot and cold) in the hallways. I greatly dislike drinking water from the bathroom tap no matter how many times hotels say it’s safe. So this is a great way to avoid plastic bottles and kettles. Food is at the American diner that’s part of the hotel. You have to pay separately but it’s fine. Only thing though, there was some weird noise (maybe very loud music or someone hitting a wall?) very late in the night so I guess the rooms are not as soundproof as they ought to be. But with great AC, a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom, it’s still a great room."
