“Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!”

“Property was impressive. High quality furniture for such a small house, commercial size stove, refrigerator, extra ice maker, HUGH TV. Extremely comfortable sofa. For a one bedroom, lots of space inside and out. Would be great for a family reunion, barbecue, party of any kind. Bottom bathroom would need to work! Fishing NOT so good, but guys tried and enjoyed themselves. Nice to sit out and enjoy the view. Master bathroom without a door NOT for everyone but also HUGH. We needed help getting into……

“This house was perfect for our family of five adults. Very unique rooms with comfy beds and soft linens. Lots of little extras that you don’t see from other owners. The back yard has a huge privacy fence, a nice fire pit, even tiki torches- all combined it made for perfect evenings sitting outside visiting. We hope this is available on our next visit to New Iberia. :)”

Thank you! ~~ The house was placed with the Bayou in the backyard and the downtown area right outside the front door. It had perfect access to all the downtown shops and dining spots. I absolutely loved the chateau and the city! The house was well accommodating with many different items in case you forgot to pack some. We want to come back again one day for a longer stay.!”

“Legit 3 bedroom/2 bath house. Well stocked with dishes/utensils/grills/boiling pots etc. The screened front and back porch were our favorite places - north wind one evening made north side a little cool. House is (of course) elevated with very relaxing views of the marsh/Vermillion Bay on north-west side or the woods on the other side. Nice trees with lots of Spanish moss added to it all. Very peaceful and restful for my wife and me. Mosquito repellent is a necessity once outside the screen……
