“Super thankful for the restoration of this old school house, to a place that can be shared for others to enjoy! Loved the intentional touches to help us appreciate the history, while still being nicely updated and comfy. Nicely tucked in the woods, but still close (about 15min) drive to Nashville shopping and Brown Co state Park. “My best friend from high school and I stayed the weekend and it was great! The owner popped in on Saturday and we had a wonderful chat She was very welcoming to me, my friend and my dog. Check in and check out were both easy-peasy. Lakefront location was excellent and accommodations were cozy, homey and super inviting. Would definitely rent again! ”

“Snoozy Snail was a great spot for our family’s two night getaway to Nashville and Bloomington! Literally a two minute drive to downtown Nashville or Hard Truth, less than five minutes to park entrance, and 30 minutes to Bloomington. Only suggestion would be a door to the bathroom that fully closed, but not a huge deal. Hot tub was great for chilly nights! Plenty of firewood and starters on hand for s’mores. Would definitely recommend!!”

“The kids had a funny little getaway adventure on the property. The lake and creek was neat to explore. Lots of seating options outside. “Cute little place! Perfect for a couples getaway. Very convenient location, right on the edge of town. Comfortable and beautiful all around!! Only complaints; a bit hard to find, I think it's listed wrong on Google maps. And the dishes were dirty, Smudges of grease or something on all the bowls/plates and some pots.”

“This little cabin is a perfect compromise between primitive tent camping and cabins that cost a fortune. A few steps above a primitive cabin with a mini fridge, microwave, heat, and air. Also well equipped with outlets for charging gadgets. WiFi worked well. My son woke up with bites all over his back which I hope to goodness isn’t bedbugs. The mattresses are plastic so maybe they are just mosquito bites??? Idk. No one else got anything so who knows? The cabin appeared super clean upon arrival……

“We had a lovely time at the campground. The hayride was so much fun. I do wish the cabins had bathrooms in them. Also, they are a little close together. But we survived and cooking over the fire was fun. We were left alone and no one bothered us the entire time which is what we wanted. Heat and air conditioning in the cabin worked well. We needed both.”
