"This was a great hotel. I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price. It was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The front desk staff can make you drinks and they had live music which was a pleasant surprise. Great view of the river from the patio. We sat there, listened to music, and watched the sunset. It was great!"

"The property is a bit outdated looking, however we found it charming and nostalgic and loved it! Everything was well maintained, clean and worked well. The staff was so kind and friendly! We had a blast in the pool and loved the addition of pool toys provided. We don't often travel through this area but would absolutely stay again if we were passing through."

"I love this property, the staff and the small town remoteness. I recommend for anyone for a destination or a pass through. Inviting, quaint and friendly. The cost is super reasonable. We got a unit with a bathroom this time, very nice. Previously, a shared bathroom, no concern with this. The back patio in the evening, we sat at a table in the low light and drank wine. Very romantic and very recharging of our souls. The staff is super pleasant, meet them, you will be pleased."

"An older refurbished motel. It was mostly clean and neat. The inside is nicely done, no carpet...which I like, except it was gritty...needed swept. Parking: only four spots in front, which is where we parked, but others must have to park in the gas station parking lot that it is connected to. Checking In: the owners were pleasant, but it took quite some time as they only had us staying one night, on the following day; I had to bring up my confirmation info to prove we were booked that night, and for two days. She made several phone calls after I showed my reservation, then told a gentleman waiting they didn't have a room for him after all. If he had registered before me, not sure what would have happened. Next day, when we returned after being gone all day, the room had not been touched. I called the office to find out why, and he seemed confused, and asked me what I wanted them to do. I explained the beds were unmade, the trash not removed, no clean towels and washcloths, etc. He sent a teenager down with two towels. The young man was very polite, but such an unprofessional way to operate. I'm not sure if they are unaware how to run a motel, or what. The morning we left, at 7:45(!), the office was dark and locked. I rang the bell twice, and after about five minutes, the owner appeared in pajamas, obviously awakened, took the key through a hole in the door, and said to go on line to get a receipt. Again, she was nice, but not what you expect. Over all, an ok stay, just odd. "

"One of our favorite rentals. Has everything you need and more. Small town but enjoyed the family Mexican restaurant and Dad’s Sourdough for breakfast. This was a one night stop and wished we had more time to enjoy the comforts that this house had to offer. Greatly appreciated a washer and dryer. Comfort plus, clean, well stocked and good value!"

"This property is nice and clean with all the essentials. We appreciate the pet friendly aspect as we travel with our dog. We have been there now for two years in a row to attend my family reunion nearby and it has suited our needs perfectly. It is a nice quiet place to rest. Thank you."

Abundant Activities for Adventurous People

"We had a wonderful four nights at this property. It was so clean and in great condition. They had everything needed. It is rural and quiet. Our adventures we mostly to the yard to watch turkeys and deer, to the pool to beat the heat, and to the hot tub to star gaze! We used the grill for most cooking. We did adventure off the property to drive around to see some canyons, towns, parks. I accidentally locked us out of house, hosts returned call and graciously got us back in quickly. We did not bring kids, but talked about what a great place for keeping kids entertained while parents actually get a little vacation. Pool, games, outside toys, obstacle course, play jail, and hidden gnomes and rocks for kids to find. It was just the two of us, but property has RV spot, another room to rent, along with the lodge. Would be a nice place for friends or family to meet up. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet."
