“I stayed here for three nights with my elderly mom. The home is lovely and very comfortable, with lovely linens, updated bathrooms, and luxurious beds. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped for anything you might want to prepare. This would be an excellent spot for a family with children. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. Above all else, the view is absolutely spectacular. I wish i could wake up to it every day. I hope to go back in the fall when the leaves are changing. Highly……

“Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! ”

“We were in town for a family wedding and found this quaint little apartment that was quiet and secluded. Being on the river we did find a lot of bugs, but nothing we couldnt handle. The owners were extremely nice and responsive and we had a wonderful stay. ”

“The cabin and property were in pristine condition and immaculately clean. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, linens and extra blankets/pillows were clean and plentiful, kayaks were in great shape and easy to navigate around the lovely and tranquil lake. Watching great blue heron take off from the shore and frogs croak away in pond, while sitting around the fire pit and barbecuing on the grill...we never wanted to leave! This cabin on Lake Harwinton is a hidden gem that delivers a full……
