"The hotel is over 100yrs old. I loved the idea of the history of the Inn. We were on the third floor( with no lift but we knew that coming in) with a nice view of the fish pond in the back yard. This made a nice hub while visiting the park. They had wifi, cable tv and dvd player with several dvds to view in the parlor area. I really enjoyed sitting by the pond at night and watching the fish. This is not a chain hotel and I was ok with that. We had a great time and would stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in WA."

"I think the biggest thing is your expectations for the Gateway Inn. It's not a 5 star place, but it's cute, cozy, amd rustic. The location is excellent, literally outside the park entrance. The cabin inside was decently clean. Bedding is worn, but we had plenty of space. The person working the front was very friendly. I thought the bed was comfortable, but my 6'5" husband did not. Overall not a bad place."

"We stayed in the Roselea’s Suite, it was very cute and vintage. The bed was comfortable and I loved the creaking floors, the whole vibe reminded me of grandma’s house. The owners were quick to take care of us when we needed them and I loved how convenient the location was. The room is above the restaurant so if the windows are closed and the air is on, we can’t hear it and the aroma isn’t overpowering. Next time we’ll bring swim suits, we didn’t know the hot tub was so close!"

"We had a very nice stay there. Nice freezer/refrigerator combo which was great because it was very hot and we only had a cooler in the car. Easy checkin, nice young man. Beds were comfortable. "

"Stayed here for the first time last year and booked it again for our recent trip. The location is great, it's rustic, but in a charming way. Love the little cafe/ice cream shop that has great morning pastries, but get there early...so you can get into the park early and avoid the lines!"
