"I spent a wonderful three nights in this flat. It’s completely updated and beautifully done. It’s located at the top of the building (nice modern lift) and has its own patio with a Jacuzzi tub, which was very relaxing in the summer evenings. Air conditioning was also appreciated as bologna was very hot in the summer. Everything I needed was nearby and it was only 10 minutes walk from the main square. I stayed in a lot of rentals around the world, and this five star review is well deserved. I...

"The hotel staff greeted very pleasantly. We enjoyed our room, and the food was excellent. We would recommend this hotel highly."

"The washroom is nice and large but I do not understand why there is no glass barriers to contain the water while showering.... I really do not understand that part!!! Super annoying!!! Wifi was also weak and I was told they cannot do anything about it. My wifi gets cut off. The hotel is situated near the airport which is great but the hotel shuttle does not run from noon to 9pm. It is hard to move around if you do not have transport."

"The Expedia Representative told us that breakfast and transportation were included. The Airport Shuttle bus only ran to the Airport every 1/2 hour, not at any time one would need it. We had to pay 17.00 Euros for transportation and 15.00 Euros for breakfast. This was very expensive for three individuals who had been told that these very important amenities were included."

"This hotel and associated apartments (we stayed in one of the apartments) was the perfect location for exploring Bologna. The staff were very helpful. The rooftop bar was beautiful. We had friends who stayed in the actual hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning at the hotel. The rest of our group of friends stayed in the apartments and enjoyed walking to the Conads (chain grocer in Italy), which was steps away, for breakfast. I would most definitely stay at the Hotel Metropolitan when visiting Bologna!"
