Wonderful place to stay!
We loved our stay at this Holiday Inn Express! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, our room was perfectly clean and comfortable, and we loved the pool area. What a fantastic perk to have it open 24 hours a day. And breakfast was delicious as well, even when we arrived at close to the end of the availabile time.

Great stay and amazing room
Our trip started out with a flat but the hotel allowed us to check in early and our room was amazing and clean! The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful!

Good Choice
Hotel is a bit off the main highway, but for our trip it was near our event. Friendly staff, clean and safe locationand I liked that they had Dove products in the bathroom. Breakfast was good and it starts at 4 AM which surprised us. We recommend this location.

Wonderful Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean and well maintained ~ many rooms looked modern and up to date. We stayed here while visiting the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville. I was traveling with my husband and 15 month old daughter. We asked if the hotel store sold any milk to drink for her bedtime routine, and while they didn't, the front desk staff immediately went into the back and got us a cup. It may sound lile a small thing, but it saved us a trip back out after a long day on the road to buy some ourselves. This kind of hospitality was present through out our stay at the hotel. One staff member in particular, David, took the time to talk with us and made us feel incredibly welcome while we were there. The hotel also offers a complimentary dinner every Wednesday night, something which I've never seen before at other hotels. While we did not get to try it ourselves due to a picky toddler, it both looked and smelled delicious. This hotel was our favorite place we stayed at throughout our road trip through West Virginia. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and would stay there again if we are in the area.

Loved our stay at Holiday Inn. Friendly staff, good comfortable mattresses, clean room, bathroom, swimming pool and overall building well-maintained. Loved the early morning free continental breakfast. Plenty of parking available. Will definitely stay here again.

The hostess and housekeeping crew were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. If I ever have to go within 50 miles of Moundsville, I will book there again.

The room was spacious, the accessible shower just that and the room was quiet. Breakfast was a cut above the usual hotel fare and it was convenient to our final destination, the Palace of Gold.
