The accommodation was lovely—modern, clean, well-appointed, and equipped with all the comforts of home. The views were beautiful, and the location was excellent—very close to the village with easy access. However, there was a serious safety issue with accessing the front door. The stairs were snow-covered, and the rope and chain railing was not secure, making it extremely dangerous—especially when carrying luggage and skis. Additionally, I found the third-party management company, Alpine Holiday Rentals, very difficult and rude to deal with, which negatively impacted the overall experience.

Not family friendly

Good location and close to village but access is down a steep path making it difficult with children and bags. Bunk beds are not suitable for children as there is no guard rail. They are also wobbly and old and felt unsafe meaning we had to move the mattresses onto the floor. Heating wasn’t on when we arrived and management were not particularly helpful when we called for advice. Cleanliness was average with dirty mugs and blood stains on some bedding. No hairdryer.

Like your own chalet in the snow

The photos don’t do this apartment justice. We hadn’t stayed here before, and were a little worried at the smaller living room and kitchen, but it was absolutely perfect. The first thing we did was get the fire going (Everything was supplied) unpack our groceries and make nice warm drinks, and that brought the apartment to life. The balcony was a lot bigger than we thought, and it was just a shame that it was windy and we couldn’t have our coffee outside. We were able to make a roast dinner, and breakfasts every day as the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the fridge is spacious. The living room is very well laid out, and the stone fireplace is the feature of the apartment. The view is beautiful, even just seeing the snow gums while you’re inside is lovely. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms could comfortably fit 8 people, although I’ve always through a top bunk without a rail is a bit scary. Being the next level down from the 4W we usually stay at made getting to the village and toboggan park a lot easier (there is a stone path right down to the road) Would absolutely recommend.

Overall good!

Apartment was bigger than expected. Path to get to apartment wasn’t very clear in listing and a bit of a surprise on arrival.

Great position and to enjoy meals

Great place but mattresses are very poor and simple amenities like tea and coffee were not provided. Fireplace and entertaining area are spot on
