“The apartment is really great and everything is brand new. But the agency forgot to send check in instructions, we called them and were all set. Be aware to get instructions 2 days before or call them. In VRBO the location was directly on the water, in reality not at all. If you want to stay in this area, the location is great but we drove every day to Acadia park or supermarket about 25-30 minutes. Yes, I would recommend this accommodation and would like to stay here again.”

“Pros: The property was exceedingly clean. The decor was fresh and modern. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of utensils, mugs, bowls, plates, etc. A few important basics were provided such as a fresh sponge, salt & pepper, paper towels, coffee filters, toilet paper, tissues, detergent, shower soap. There were plenty of blankets.Cons: The stairs to the bedroom upstairs are very steep and narrow (about a 91/2” rise and a 7 1/2” run). The bathroom is downstairs so the steep……

“The accommodations are rustic and minimal, so you will want to plan to eat out while staying. They do have a mini fridge and microwave. A little further from the park than other cabins, but well outside the Bar Harbor traffic woes.”

“We had a very enjoyable time. The hosts were excellent and responded to our requests quickly in text. We kicked off a fire in the pit,quiet, and place was very clean. The reason for the 4 stars is it is definitely an older property (1950s) and the beds were super firm. We plan to go again but try the individual canins. we found the beds super firm. “Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. ”

“This place was great for our visit to Bar Harbor. The apartment had everything we needed the the pool and playground was a great way for my kids to burn extra energy. Checking in and out couldn’t have been easier.”

“It was unclear to me, that this was a Big house and a rental of rooms. Total of 7 rooms/suites. Vintage decor with easy keypad entry and a HUGE tv. House not Handicap accessible, from what I could see. We had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. That also was not made clear. No amenities other than a small area for laundry. Quarters only. Very close for walking downtown. Coffee place nearby, a plus. I would stay here again. Good AC and WiFi.”

“We loved it! So quaint and cozy! Very clean! We loved the breakfast every morning. The staff is so friendly and the food was great! It was out of the busy touristy area but a perfect walk to every where!! Would def recommend the stay here! We’ll be back!”
