It's only half a mile from the state capitol, and you can see if from the porch - a beautiful view, especially at night. Chris took care of all our needs, and we were comfortable and had all we needed. Highly recommended if you like to be right in the middle of all the action - the lake, great bars, downtown square, grocery store, and just a quick bike ride to the university campus. Unfortunately we weren’t aware it was the first home football game of the season and all the hotels in the area were either booked or outrageously priced for the night. Stumbled upon The Little Village and it fit the bill perfectly. 35 minutes from Campus and in such a cute little town! Room was nice and clean. Simple amenities but just what you need for a quick night.」

「We booked with the Little Village for a weekend getaway and when we arrived, we were surprised at the small size of the room and especially the size of the extremely small bathroom. The property was clean, the beds comfortable and the towels were plush. The small bar of soap did not serve well for two showers. Two bars were needed. It would have been nice to have access to an ice machine with ice bucket as well as a listing of local restaurants.」

「Our family enjoyed a delightful weekend stay at the EarthHouse for the graduation of our oldest son from UW. Pam wished us well from the onset & was extremely helpful when we added our middle son to our stay. At the time of booking, we were unaware that he would be able to join us for the graduation festivities. However, Pam accommodated our changing needs after arrival without creating any anxiety for us on our exciting weekend. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner in Mt Horeb Friday evening at Bistro...
