I booked a room at ghus hotel because it was a non smoking hotel and i have environmental allergies. The room smelled like cigarrette smoke and when i reported it, my options were take 10% off or checkout. There was also an issue with the plumbing. I don't think I will ho back. The bed was comfortable though and I bought air sanitizer for the smell..

First off the hotel was hard to get to with construction. Secondly, the police were there when we arrived and then again later. The bed was not comfortable at all and not enough pillows. The staff was very nice!

Ok stay

Reserved a single queen studio but when I got to hotel they had booked all the single queen studios, had to settle for 2 double beds. Not a big deal but didn’t seem right, if I reserved a single queen I should get a queen not have to settle for 2 double beds. All other aspects of stay were great. Friendly staff and great comfort.

Overall it was nice. My first night i noticed a small bug in the bathroom. I didn’t pay it no mind. The second night there were multiple smaller and a bigger bug. I called the front desk. My options were to check out at midnight when i saw them for a full refund . Check out in the morning for a discount or stay until my reservation was over. I chose to stay because I had no where else to go. The rest of the time went well.

In the room there was dirt on the floor, hair in the tub and pee on the toilet seat. The room stunk of stale cigarettes and someone was clearly smoking in one of the rooms nearby. I asked a member of the staff to clean the toilet and she came right away and was very friendly. However, I wasted 3/4 of a bottle of antibacterial spray on the bed and surfaces. They also charged me $60 for my dog when my dog is cleaner than the hotel. This hotel is way overpriced for what it is.

The room was clean but the hallways were not in good shape. Overall the hotel is in need of updating: the tub faucet leaked, the walls are dinged up, the hall carpet dirty, the lights in the hallway very dim etc. I stayed there because I had a dog with me and it was one of the few places that was pet friendly. However, the hotel parking lot was full of trash and there are not a lot of nearby areas to walk a dog.

Terrible hotel, not worth your time or money! I didn't even stay and was charged. I booked a reservation in the car on my way to the hotel. Upon arrival I walked in and was so disappointed. The the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. The front desk staff was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and was very accommodating. However, after reading a sign at the front desk that stated there is a $250 fine for smoking in the room when the entire hotel smelled of smoke and after surveying the hotel surroundings I declined to continue with my reservation. I tried to immediately cancel my reservation with Expedia once I got at the location but was unable to do so due to the time frame and was charged for a reservation the next morning even though I didn't stay. Horrible experience never again.
