"They said they couldn't find my reservation and told me I needed to cancel and then asked me to pay in cash. Can't speak English. Communication is through Google and guessing. Charged me more then the site for a nasty room. Even stated they didn't like using this site. Oh and I was actually on their computer looking for my own reservation. St the end of it all the guy clapped his hands at me and said we are done. He's lucky it ended nicely. If this is what hotel.com offers I'll do as I'm doing...

"The past 3 or 4 times we've stayed at a La Quinta we have been very disappointed. The cleanliness and service was drastically less than before covid. BUT.... This location in Sulphur Springs Texas is operated by a couple that truly cares and it shows! The hotel is very clean and run efficiently. Five stars for every category! If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here!"

"We stayed one night at the hotel and the room was very clean. The hotel is older so the interior doors don't align well, etc. We didn't use the pool but it was clean and in good shape. The staff was very responsive to our request for additional towels and items. Not a fancy hotel but is good for a budget hotel if you are traveling. Will stay here again."

"We made a run south and booked this hotel approx 6 hours in advance. Front desk staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. The room was nicer then expected for the price we paid. Breakfast was included and tasted good. The one thing I good point out is the silicone at the base of the shower walls needs to be either cleaned better or replaced. Not gross just yellowed"
