If you're looking for the perfect mountain getaway, Shasta Harmony offers a warm, stylish, and fully updated cottage experience right in the heart of Mt. Shasta. This beautifully renovated home combines charm, comfort, and modern décor with unbeatable views of Mt. Shasta from the kitchen, deck, and backyard.

Located in Chestnut Village, a small collection of four vacation rentals, Shasta Harmony enjoys its own private Hot Tub making it ideal for couples, families, or small groups. The cottage is also pet-friendly, welcoming up to two dogs (with a $40 fee per pet), and includes a large, shared yard that's professionally landscaped with flowers, a dry creek bed, and plenty of grassy space. While the property is fenced, we ask that all dogs remain leashed and are not left unattended inside the home.

Inside, you'll find an entirely new interior—featuring a fully updated kitchen and bathroom, new flooring, windows, furniture, and thoughtfully curated décor throughout. The cottage includes two bedrooms, each with a new queen bed, 3-inch memory foam toppers, high-quality bedding, and a mix of feather and traditional pillows. One bedroom includes a closet, and both have large dressers for convenient storage.

The cozy living room offers a queen sofa sleeper a flat-screen TV with DISH satellite programming, and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. The bright front sunroom, just inside the entrance, includes a charming wicker bistro set with bamboo pull-down shades for privacy—a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for all your cooking needs. It features a sunny eating bar with four stools and offers breathtaking Mt. Shasta views through the window. Guests will find a Keurig and drip coffee maker, full-size refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, toaster, rice maker, bread maker, bakeware, pots, pans, barware, utensils, and plenty of extras like basic spices, coffee, creamer, tea, foil, wraps, dish soap, napkins, and paper towels.

The bathroom includes a walk-in shower (no tub), plush Egyptian cotton towels, a hair dryer, curling iron, and toiletries such as shampoo, soap, and lotion. A shared laundry room is also available, with washer, dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets provided.

Step outside to the rear deck and take in the incredible mountain views. This space features a gas BBQ, a patio dining table with umbrella, extra chairs for lounging, and twinkle lights strung through the trees to create a magical evening ambiance. You’ll also find the hot tub there, free of charge, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking, skiing, or exploring the area.

The location is unbeatable—you’re right in town and can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Across the street to the right is a fantastic gourmet market offering fresh produce, wine, sandwiches, BBQ, and specialty items. For larger groups, an additional rental called “Shasta Star” is available just next door above a local crystal and rock shop.

Street parking is available directly in front of the cottage. While Mt. Shasta is a safe community, we recommend locking your vehicle and bringing valuables inside. Smoking is not permitted indoors; however, you may smoke on the outdoor deck. A $250 fee applies for any indoor smoking or odors from cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, or vaping. Additional fees also apply if pets are found on furniture or bedding, or if waste is not cleaned up outside.
