Family getaway

The house worked beautifully for our 3 generation family get-together. Location is outstanding, and we were able to take full advantage of the dock and the lake with a gorgeous weekend. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of puzzles, activities for everyone.

Family lake weekend

We had a great family weekend at this beautiful location. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. Amazing view of the lake and surroundings. Lovely, clean, well maintained property. Highly recommend!

Loved this place.

This was a great vacation house. My husban and I along with my brother and his wife who live out of state rented it for a week.We have seven siblings in the state so instead of running up and down the Puget Sound. We stayed here at let them come to us. We took advantage of everything the house had to offer. Hot tub, boats, lake access, BBQ. The house was well stocked and linens and pots and pans, overal very clean.The only FYI , I would give someone is that you are in the woods so bring bug spray and the driveway is steep and can be tricky the first time you use it.

We loved it so much, we came back again!

This was our second time having a cozy crafting weekend at this house, and it was just as good - if not better! - the second time around. Plenty of space for everyone to do their own activities, lots of beds, and a decently stocked kitchen. We'll probably be back in the Spring for round 3!

Beautiful spot

Lovely home and location. Comfortable beds. Nice gas fireplaces made it cozy. We loved finding our favorite movies on VHS! Such a fun nostalgic piece- we watched a bunch of them, not even touching the DVDs ☺️

Lots of water fun

Lots of water fun for the kids… kayaking, water floating devices and fun just jumping off the dock. Plenty of sleeping rooms, movies and table games to play. Suggest a new BBQ cover and pruning back plants on the deck..

Serene Lakeside Retreat

On thanksgiving weekend, we spent a relaxing 2 nights at this beautiful lakeside home with a group of friends. A great collection of movies, books and games kept us busy. The fooseball table was the highlight for most of the kids. The kitchen was well stacked with all we needed to prepare and eat our meals. Thank you Zeeny!

summer family gathering

Beautiful spot although dock is across the road down a very steep slope. Everything in house was great but bedding needs to be updated. Kitchen island was great spot to fill with food the entire weekend. Made music and good memories though didn't use fire or fire table and with burn ban no outdoor fire ring. Thank you.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends

We wanted a spot for a cozy crafting and reading weekend, and this was exactly what we were looking for! There was enough space for everyone to be comfortable and do whatever they wanted to do. The waterfront access was a fantastic bonus, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and everything we would need to cook with. The hot tub was toasty, the views were great, and we're already planning our next vacation here for the Fall. Be aware that, although there are plenty of coffee makers in the kitchen, no coffee is provided. Not a big deal, we just didn't realize it, and the nearest store is about half an hour away. Overall, fantastic, peaceful, and beautiful - and would definitely stay here again.

Summer getaway

Our family (Mom, dad, 3 adult children, 2 grandchildren, and grandma) had a great time at this property. Having access to the lake, boat dock, and kayaks made the stay extra special during the day; while the hot tub and fire pit made for relaxing evenings. There were ample towels, blankets, and pillows, and more than enough silverware and utensils for all of us. However I gave it a 4 star rather than 5 due to the parking being very steep and hard to get to, especially with a larger truck. Also, the bushes on the front side of the patio were so overgrown, they blocked the entire pathway to the patio and even extended to the outdoor dining area, calling on quite a few mosquitoes.

Girls weekend

Beautiful spot, pictures look just like the house. Host gives accurate information and very detailed. We could never figure out the ceiling speakers so the tv seemed quiet to us but that’s minor detail. Room for everyone and over all great experience!

Great home with many amenities

We wanted a large home that had lake access and a dock for our boat, and this property delivered! It has many amenities, including hot tub and private dock with water toys. We were very pleased with the condition of the home and it was comfortable! We would definitely recommend!

Amazing location

Such a wonderful location. The view from the deck is amazing. The view from the dock is to die for. So glad we were lucky enough to stay here. As far as amenities and such, the cabin is great. Has everything you need -which is good bc it is 30 min to the store! Place is bigger than we realized. Lots of "rooms" even if unofficial bedrooms (loft, basement, kids dorm area, plus 2 more bdrms). We loved it.

Great Lake, Great Value

The property could have been cleaned up a bit better, but overall the house and property were really nice! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would ever need, there were a ton of beds which worked out great for us, and the dock and water toys were perfect! Lake Cavanaugh is a hidden gem and and I would definitely stay here again.

Lake Escape

Second time staying here. We love the dock, fishing, hot tub and kayaking. We caught our dinner. The whole family had a good time. New floors are nice. New washing machine and dryer but the towels are still rotten. Door screen was a nice addition. This lake house is a treasure!

Awesome location for a great Girl Cousin's Retreat

Beautiful home in a woodsy lake location. Sometimes the boats on the lake were noisy, but otherwise really peaceful and private. Wonderful host, who quickly responded to our needs. The driveway is an extreme driving experience but the view is worth it. And the home is very comfortable.

Great lake house!

My friends and I had an amazing weekend in this property. The location is priceless- we were lucky with the weather. The house is equipped with tons of things - fire pit, bbq, games, hottub, games, etc. The check in and out process was super easy. We would love to come back in the summer for another girls getaway. I recommend this property 100%.

Relaxing by the lake!

We rented this property to get away from the city. It was everything we could hope for. We made large dinners, played board games, watched movies, went fishing, boating and swimming. Then relaxed in the hot tub listening to music. Home was well stocked with everything you might forget. Will definitely stay here again! Perfect for multi-family get togethers!
