“The rooms (and property) were one step above a hostel. Although the pool and surrounding area appeared relatively clean, the public kitchen area was obviously exposed to the outdoor elements and the rooms were completely stripped down. There were remnants of missing artwork, curtains and many other common elements in the rooms, while spider webs and other insects were prevalent. The bathroom windows were slightly tinted, but with the backlighting in the bathroom, occupants were clearly visible……

“Room was clean, the staff I spoke to was very nice and cheerful, I liked the outdoor kitchen setup. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked very clean and welcoming. I thought some areas could do with a paint touch up, but it didn’t detract. Overall a comfy 3 night stay. Cheers.”

“Awesome location, Free beach chairs and Wifi were very convenient. The only problem is the HOT water in the shower sometimes gets very weak because of other room are using the hot water.”

“A great location to stay if you are exploring the Daintree or taking a Daintree River cruise. The ammenities are clean and the pool is superb. The have licenced food vans on site, open daily for breakfast, coffee, dinner or a drink. We stayed in the tents, and they are lockable and are good value for the price you pay. (A few points to note: If you are staying here and need to use the Daintree River ferry, the ferry is $57 return for a standard vehicle. The Daintree ferry is about 10 minutes……

“No room tidy service; change of towels at extra cost. No quilt but a blank piece of sheet. Too many cushions and ornaments take up much space in a room which is quite small to start with.”

“We reserved a Spa Suite for $425 USD - upon arrival, the assigned room was tucked in the back corner of the property and was very, very tiny with a large tub on the outside deck - certainly not a room that should be advertised as a "suite". Even worse, the only view from the room/deck was looking at the backside of another building and the air conditioning units for each room. We asked to be moved to another room, but unfortunately, the property was completely booked so they could not move us.……

“The blinds in the sitting room were missing about 40% therefore offering no privacy. So required us to be fully dressed when on the 1st floor.”
