“We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool”

“Had a great couple of days away from home, was really nice to sit out on the deck and enjoy the country landscape! A short drive to Port Fairy or Warrnambool, and it was dog friendly! ”

“The house accommodation was ideal for our family. Plenty of room and just a short drive to the centre of Port Fairy shops and restaurants. The large grounds provided privacy and the large spa was an added feature. Highly recommended. ”

“From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt right at home. Lyneve had made sure the cottage was cool on the hot day we arrived - blinds down and fans on. The cottage is so close to the town centre you can walk there. Off street parking is a bonus. We stayed 4 nights and cooked dinner for ourselves during that time as well as going out to eat. Lovely decor and all amenities.”

Stroll along the river and walk to Griffith Island or walk into town for coffee or a meal . Central location in this picturesque town but at night so quiet we could hear the roar of the sea.”

“We enjoyed a long weekend Winter getaway in this cosy property. We started our days with eggs and fresh bread baked by our friendly host. While the weather was chilly and wet, we loved watching the rain moving across the landscape from behind the huge picture windows, and then wandering in the gardens between rain showers. Games of darts and snooker, reading a good book and cooking up a feast filled in our days. We also took a drive down to Port Campbell to see the angry seas in action. Robyn's……

“Very clean and everything we needed in walking distance”

“We had a very nice time at Whalers Cottage. The location is excellent and within walking distance of town, beach and local attractions. It was wonderful to watch grebes and coots feeding in the beautiful pond outside. Frog calls lulled us to sleep each night The cottage was clean and functional. Plenty of crockery and kitchen utensils were provided. The air conditioner was sufficient to keep us warm in the living area, provided the door was kept closed. An enjoyable holiday.”
