“Cute set of converted old school rooms just set off the main road between Port Fairy and Warrnambool, tucked just far enough away to not hear the road noise, but close enough to make it easy. We stayed in Cabin 6, which was situated away from the others, it was also the accessible cabin, which mean plenty of space and easy access in and out. Comfortable bed, small kitchen with a 2 seat table and a 3 seater couch. Plenty of windows to open to let the cool air in, with the added benefit of AC……

“From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt right at home. Lyneve had made sure the cottage was cool on the hot day we arrived - blinds down and fans on. The cottage is so close to the town centre you can walk there. Off street parking is a bonus. We stayed 4 nights and cooked dinner for ourselves during that time as well as going out to eat. Lovely decor and all amenities.”

“We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool”
