“I had a wonderful stay at the Kruger Gate Hotel. The room was very nice and very comfortable with a lot of storage. The breakfast was good and the dinner buffet outdoors was excellent with many different local dishes, and amazing ambience with the fire pits and the local singers as well as the hotel staff singing ‘happy birthday’ to guests. The game drives arranged though the hotel were amazing and we saw all the Big 5 and many of the other animals and birds as well. The spa was wonderful as……

“Your response is unacceptable. The Royal Hotel was closed for refurbishment at the time of my booking — a fact that should have been known to Hotels.com before confirming any reservations. It is embarrassing that such a booking was confirmed in the first place, and the stress caused is entirely due to your company’s failure to ensure the property was operational. I will be taking this matter up with my travel insurance provider and expect Hotels.com to review its internal processes to prevent……

“Kruger park was only about 20 minutes away by drive. All of the staff were wonderful. So friendly. Whatever you wanted, they would get for you. I couldn’t single out one staff member because they were all perfect. The suites are gorgeous and spotless with a wonderful view of the Sabe River. The food was excellent and so plentiful. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay to get to Kruger and experience the game drives. The drivers were excellent and it was easy to see their love for……
