“What an incredible place! The staff treat you like family and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent food and service set in a beautifully curated hotel on the river bank. We were spoiled every day with Elephant, Hippos, bush buck, warthog and nyala eating and drinking directly in front of the hotel. Sipping a cocktail and watching these beautiful creatures was a daily highlight! ”

“The room here was beautifully appointed, and the bed was very comfy. The property was really quiet and it had a lovely pool. It was unfortunately too cold to take a dip in winter. There was wifi available everywhere, but its speed could vary depending on where you were. It would have been nice to have some bathrobes available in the room. The views from the property were lovely, especially when you are on the observation deck and can see the Drakensbergs in the distance. The breakfast and……

“A really friendly and thoughtful owner. We were going to cook our own food, but they even had ready meals at reception for us, which were really tasty. We had a lovely walk around the farm in the morning before heading off on our way. The breakfast was lovely and made with local produce.”
