“Incredibly friendly, informative and helpful staff. Absolutely beautiful hotel. Large and very comfortable rooms. Very good on site restaurant and excellent staff. Perfect location with easy access to local restaurants, shipping and Salem activities and sights. We loved our short stay here and look forward to returning next year for a longer stay!”

“We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel.
Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.
There were only a couple drawbacks (which would NOT keep me from recommending the experience):

“Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. Do note - it's a lovely old house, but like most old houses, it does have steps, ……
“this is my first time to stay with Extended Stay America. there is no breakfast,no coffe maker if you don't ask for the frontdesk.
if i have choice, i will not stay with this hotel again.”
“Rooms were clean, the staff was professional, and the hotel is located right off Route 1/I-95. The breakfast was good, with the typical options of eggs, sausage, home fries, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, things like that. They also had juice, coffee, and tea.
They have a decent gym and indoor pool.
All in all, for the price and location I thought it was a great choice. I would stay there again. ”
