“Groszügiges Bijou in St. James. Sehr schöner Strand zwar über die Strasse aber angenehm nah.”

“Excellent! Our first floor room was spacious and well decorated with all ameneties including tea/coffee, fridge, beach towels etc. TV had Netflix etc. More St James than Kalk Bay but only 10mins walk to Kalk Bay. Breakfast was excluded but we just added and the choice was extensive. parking was available just around the corner. Only two comments which did not bother us was that the room had no air-con but was very cool. Overhead fan and open windows were fine. The only other comment its……

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Familienfreundlichkeit: Schon vor unserer Ankunft wurden wir gefragt, welche Art von Bett wir bevorzugen, was uns sehr entgegenkam. Das Frühstück war ein absoluter Höhepunkt unseres Aufenthalts. Die hochwertigen Speisen, insbesondere das Müsli und die Omeletts, waren köstlich und liebevoll……

“This was an excellent stay. The hotel contacted us in advance to offer early access to the room and to confirm our arrival time. The hotel manager, Wonderful, was a welcoming and helpful host. The room was super clean, spacious and very comfortable with a wonderful sea view. The hotel is within walking distance of a good restaurant and grocery and wine stores are near by. Could not have asked for more.”

“Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast includes plenty of choices for everybody. Constantia is perfect if you are looking for a place close to Cape Town but safe and quiet.”
