"The lake was wonderful. There was definitely enough space for our family, the pool was a bonus and big hit with the kids & the amount of bathrooms were wonderful! Most beds and living room furniture need to be replaced & another dining room table could be added. Maintenance guy was very quick to respond and very helpful. This property seems to be run mostly by a company so answers weren’t always answered properly. Boat wasn’t available but may be because I didn’t ensure soon enough, I don’t know, Over all is was a nice stay."

"Cabin was extremely clean, host goes above and beyond making you comfortable and having things for you to use if you need them. When my son and I pulled in we got our stuff in the house and we immediately walked down to the lake, and it is like a sheet of glass calm, and the only sound you hear is nature. The second thing that we saw was across the lake there was a family of deer that we saw more than once in a 4 day period. If you are looking for a place to get away and be in an extremely peacefull place, this is the spot for you. Everything that the host prepared his home for made this an incredible trip for my son and I it was truly perfect."

"The property grounds are beautifully landscaped, Approx 30 steps to the dock and pristine sand bottom,clear water lake. This cute lodge style 2nd floor condo is compact in size with a large clean bathroom ,well stocked with an abundance of towels and TPThe small kitchen had all the essentials, spotless fridge. The Dish TV in the living area worked very well. The owners are quickly available for any info or questions"

"This is a very clean, nice and quiet cabin. The hosts are very accommodating. Just realize if you have any leg or foot issues it’s quite a sloped walk down to the lake. It was worth it for the scenery and wildlife though."
Charming Log Cabin on Beautiful Lake Butterfield

"This charming log cabin is a secluded getaway with beautiful lake views, perfect for the two of us who needed to retreat from our hectic schedules and daily demands. The shoreline is beautiful mix of natural vegetation that is an oasis for many of nature’s inhabitants. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location. Sitting on the dock and soaking up the beauty of creation restored our souls. We made use of the rowboat to go fishing and caught our limit of sunnies in two locations on Butterfield Lake. We also took two delightful canoe trips around the entire shoreline. The large fire ring was great for an early evening fire. The basement had a musty odor, so we hung a sheet over the bottom of the stairs to the basement to reduce air exchange. That solved our concerns. The cabin was stocked with cookware, utensils, plates, glassware, etc. that we needed in the kitchen and we enjoyed opening the windows to let the natural air conditioning of the lake breezes flow through the cabin. We didn’t need to use the upstairs bedroom, but that would be a fun spot for the kiddos. The hosts were communicative and friendly. We would certainly love to come back to this cabin on beautiful Butterfield Lake."
