"For a one night sleep during a road trip it was great! Very affordable and very clean. Staff was helpful and made everything easy. Just be prepared for a non impressive breakfast lol. But honestly for the price zero complaints! And sonic is across the street! I would book again."

"This is a lovely little spot. If you’re looking for a lot of action you probably wouldn’t like it. If you want a nice quiet place to relax this is the spot. The restaurant is very good and reasonable prices. They were open for dinner only. We found a great spot for lunch about 10 miles away in Beckley- The Dish. Excellent food and service. We chose to come to the area to go to the national park. It’s a little less than an hour away but worth the trip. Enjoy the view of the lake in back."

"Somehow our King Suite that we reserved/paid for was unavailable when we arrived. The front desk clerk was apologetic and offered us a free breakfast to make up for the issue. They took care of the situation and we were happy with the room switch and enjoyed the breakfast. We were happy with our stay and the hotel."
